Do cats like jute or sisal?
Jute is made from jute plant, sisal is made from agave plant. The two ropes look similar, but have different characteristics. When it comes to choosing between sisal rope and jute rope, we'll find sisal rope is a better solution for our cat and home. Sisal is stiffer than jute, cats love sisal rope due to rough texture.

As the title says. It's the right size and texture (my previous attempts were too small or too large), but the smell is...not nice. It has a harsh chemical odor that even permeated my hands after wrapping a climbing pole with it.

Exactly the same size as the sisal on my cat's play tree. It's a good replacement sisal for what he's destroyed already. It's a quick fix and extends the life of the cat tree, so I'm very happy with it.

I used the ropa for my chair so my cat can scratch it it was tedious but worth it. She doesn't scratch it but she bite it.

The quality of the rope isn't terrible. But don't expect it to last any longer than the original rope on your tree if you have a cat who constantly scratches at their tree and destroys it. If your cat or cats are like mine, then you might need extra 😅

I bought this for my cats scratch post. I had to replace the rope and this worked really well! The thickness was identical and the quality of the rope was comparable to what the scratch oat came with. I highly recommend it as my cat loves it.
