This shelving unit is sturdy and attractive, and at a reasonable cost. It's also quick and simple to assemble. However, be sure to align the rib in the tapered plastic shelf supports with the grooves on the legs, and be sure you position the shelves at the desired height before final assembly. It's possible to remove the shelves, by tapping them with a rubber mallet, but it's a little difficult to do, especially after the shelving has been loaded and allowed to sit for awhile.

This was exactly what I was looking for! I have a few of the wider version but two next to each other did not fit in our new closet after moving. I put them in the kids' closet to put their plastic drawers on top of side by side so I could still hang clothes above them and store things under them. The big plastic drawers fit perfectly on top and stay secure without any additional work. I have the shelves at the very top setting to create one continuous surface. It's not worth taking a star away but I wish that it wasn't more expensive than the larger one. That was the only downside.

There are so many choices for these types of metal shelf racks and I’m sure most of them are all similar. But I went for this one since I liked the black coloring.The metal construction on this one is super solid. Good overall thickness and durability. I forgot the actual shelf rating but feel like it could easily hold up to 300lbs or more when weight is evenly distributed. I’m using mine to store a bunch of those large plastic organizer totes which are loaded with a bunch of heavy items inside as well as tools, etc. and the shelves hold it up no problem. I have confidence in the strength of the shelves and have no worry in it ever breaking. Typical adjustment style enable custom spacing, with a good overall height. Has little screw on adjustable feet and the top of the bars come with push-in caps to cover the holes.Assembly on these types of shelves are super straightforward and takes only a few minutes. The metal construction feels premium and looks good in the black color. If I ever need more storage racks, I would definitely buy this again.

It seems plenty solid once assembled correctly. I like the joining system for shelf support very much.First try I did orient the shelves with the edging upwards as I thought it was part of a design to hold things from falling off. The directions / renderings did not show me this. I was wrong! The shelf was very loose and wobbly. Once I oriented the shelves with the edging facing towards the bottom it assembled perfectly strong. Seems odd to me so perhaps a manufacturing oddity.If edging doesn't matter then buy it with confidence.

Excellent product, I am using to add storage space for pots and pans in a kitchen cabinet. Easy to assemble, make sure you follow directions and correctly identify the "Top" side of the sleeves (marked on the item) and the Top of the upper tray that the sleeves slide into, so the top shelf is not upside down. A very nice feature is that the height is adjustable by moving the position of the sleeves. This allowed me to fit large pots under the shelf, and to also put a lid holder on top of the shelf, with enough room for the lids to fit under the top of the cabinet. It seems sturdy and is very nice-looking. Well-made and nicely finished. Overall a great addition to my cabinet!

Los estantes aceptaron todo lo que les puse y todavía sobra espacio.Son extremadamente robustos y estables, y se ven bien en la cocina. También crearon espacio al lado de una puerta porque no son demasiado anchos.Son muy fáciles y rápidos de armar. Las instrucciones están en inglés, pero las imágenes son fáciles de seguir.

Me gusto la altura y su acomodo en la alacena, tiene buen espacio para los platos o para cualquier uso, lo unico malo es que como las patas se pueden doblar y desdoblar estan un poco flojitas, pero hastael momento no se ha caido.Es de unbuen acabado y el material se ve resistente.

Bought this looking for an affordable storage option for our alcohol collection. It is hard to find affordable shelving sturdy enough for this. With this shelf we found:Pro's:-Easy to put together! I am a small uncoordinated female who rarely assembles things and was able to set it up quickly all by myself before boyfriend got home.-Very easily holds a large amount of weight, and glass bottles full of liquid are heavy!-Doesn't shake or wobble: when you are putting glass things on a shelf you don't want to have to worry that it's shaky and things will fall off and break.-Once you set the desired height for the shelves, they don't slide down: when I opened the box and saw that little plastic things were all that would hold the shelves up I was very dubious but once I snapped them on they didn't budge, even if I leaned all my weight on them!-Very good price for the quality. Shelving made specifically for wine or liquor costs hundreds and even more to ship, and the lower priced ones are more than this shelf and don't hold nearly as much. If you don't mind how it looks, this is really the best affordable option. And can't beat Prime shipping!Cons:-This isn't enough of a problem to knock any stars off for, but if you are going to set anything smaller on this shelf(narrower bottles etc) you will want to buy a stiff liner to lay on top of it. That way you don't have to worry about things wobbling and falling if you set them down and they're not balanced on two of the bars.Conclusion: The description is accurate and next time I need a shelf for anything heavy I will turn to Whitmor shelving units!
