Q1: How to measureand fit?
To fit your dog better, please measure twice before buying. When you receive your muzzle, make sure that it is large enough to allow your dog to pant and that it is secure while wearing. If it is the first time for your dog to wear a dog mussel, please introduce muzzles to your dog with more treats, and they will be more receptive.
Q2: Why is the muzzle easy to tear by a dog?
A2: Dogs can't adapt to wearing a muzzle at first. They may think that the muzzle restricts their activities, or use the muzzle as a toy. Please trim your dog’s nails first when wearing the mesh muzzle, because a smart dog will try to stick his/her nails in the mesh to take off or destroy the muzzle. We recommend doing positive training to introduce muzzles to dogs.
Q3: Can the muzzle be worn for a long time?
A3: We would never recommend extended periods of time unless absolutely necessary. And it is not recommended to wear it without human supervision to avoid dangerous situations.

Love the muzzle, the sizing is perfect . The small mesh still gives my dog plenty of air and it stops him from licking everything when we go for our walks. Definitely recommend 👍

We have a 10 lb Chihuahua mix who is a four-legged vacuum cleaner outside. The organic stuff such as grass and pine needles passes through his system but he has twice swallowed gravel and rocks that sent him to the vet ($$$$). He's great at "drop it" but we have to watch him constantly.I've tried a couple of anti-scavenging muzzles for small dogs where the dimensions sounded right but he could either open his mouth enough to eat something or the muzzle had to be tightened so much it pulled the snout part up into his eyes. This one in the XS (extra small) size is perfect.We found the best way to fit it to him was to make the strap that goes over the head extra long, so that when the cheek pieces are connected, it fits more like a collar around the neck, not high up on the back of his head. This keeps the muzzle secure while not going up into his eyes.The straps are smooth and kind of slippery, which works well for adjusting them while the muzzle is on but then they slip out of place easily, either by themselves or when the dog paws at them. We stabilized them by wrapping black elecrical tape around the two pieces going in and out of each strap adjustment slide. I was thinking of sewing them on the machine but probably won't bother, the tape works so well and is practically invisible. Plus we can always readjust the muzzle if necessary in the future.It seems most of the negative reviews on this muzzle are due to the muzzle getting out of adjustment and/or being easy for a dog to remove. I hope these tips help people as this muzzle is really great - well-made, sturdy, and comfortable.

Our Basenjis hate water. One is smaller with a nicer disposition, but the other gets down right mean if you force her to do anything she doesn't want to do. This muzzle got us through bath time with no injuries and less fighting than usual. Granted this is still a 2 person job with my wife and I to bathe a 20lb dog, but it still made a big difference. I can see how any dog could sweep this off their head with a free paw, but me holding the back of it during the process means she couldn't get it off and was only capable of very strong verbal complaints. Afterwards, she was back to her happy self. Didn't hold a grudge for having to wear it. Overall, great muzzle if holding the back side. May not be great on its own unless tighter than we had it. Didn't try that as we didn't want to chance it without me holding it.

I got this product to try and make my puppy more comfortable and as a replacement for the collar of shame she was having to were after a sterilization operation. Opening the product I found it to be well made and matched the description apart from one point; its size description on the package did not match the item that I received. My puppy is a rescue Jack Russell mix with big pointed ears, who had already had to put up with a lot before I got her. One of her ears was being bent by the collar of shame and after we stopped using the collar, it took about 4 weeks for this particular ear to recover and become upright. So I ordered this muzzle during the recover period to help with this problem, in an xsmall, attracted to the fact that it would not be so unwieldy going through doors as the COS was, and also that the animal could drink through it when it wished. I measured the dog accurately, but when I got the product, the internal wrapping was labelled extra small, but it was huge on my puppy. I compared the measurements on the website description with the product I had got and it was a small instead of an extra small. It was disappointing as I could not trust that a replacement would not have the same size issue, and I would not get a replacement in time for my puppy anyway. So, overall, a disappointing shopping experience, and Amazon needs to check this product stock as it is wrongly labelled regarding sizing.

I'm giving 5 * as it was perfect fit per mesuments. Lightweight, and breathable. No rub. This cutie pie is great around the chickens when we're out in the pasture, but they love to fly into her backyard. Then it's game on. Unfortunately she wins. Hopefully she will learn. Our other dog, Malinois could careless about them. I put in pictures to help you see her muzzle size. I ordered size Small. Hope this helps.She only has to ware it when she's out in the backyard. And am putting up bird guards on fences so she doesn't have to ware forever. After all I am asking a Black mouth Curr/ hunting dog not to hunt in her yard. She's great fun out hunting and the sweetest dog. Not her fault. She's smart, very young.

I bought the small in July 2023. It's good quality & looks comfortable enough. Your pet will be able to drink water, do a little bit of licking but unable to pick up trash from the floor or bite while wearing it. I think it's great - I really like it. Unfortunately, my pup's head keeps expanding & now it's too small. It is, however, still usable & in good condition. So, a few days ago, I ordered the medium - to my surprised it's still too small. My pup is a terrier with wide head & short face. I had planned on ordering the XL, just to be on the safe side, but after seeing their new return policy, I decided against. Their new policy is - you have to wait 30-days AFTER they receive your returned item to get a refund. Furthermore, depending on the condition of the returned item, your refund might be half or zero. Now why should I have to wait 30-days after you have the item in your possession to get my money? Also, the decision to give me a full / half / zero refund is up to the vendor. Nah...I don't agree with that, therefore, they just lost a customer.FYI - make sure you take pictures of your items before returning them.

Had to return and replace the first muzzle, size small. The second muzzle, size xs, was still too big, fitting right under my dog’s eyes and obstructing her vision. Also, the stitching is very flimsy, allowing the muzzle to come apart easily. Maybe I just had bad luck, but it isn’t worth risking the muzzle scratching my dog’s eyes.

Correct size. Didn’t stay on my pup’s face. She immediately took it off with her paws. Second time she shook her head and it flew off, even after adjusting it.
