We got this for our road trip from Colorado to Vegas which is a 12 hour drive. It's very spacious and easy to use. It held up great with the weather and it didn't come loose. It saw speeds up to 90 mph and a constant 80 mph and it didn't move at all. I definitely recommend this for a nice roof bag for extra cargo space!

Great roof bag. Drove thru pouring rain snow and sun with this not a drop of water got in. Zip is extremely strong, material is heavy duty. Definitely recommend if going on a road trip

This was our first time using something like this and we were very impressed! Worked perfect on our Jeep for our road trip! Very sturdy, fit a lot of stuff in it and very easy to install! Highly recommend this product.

We did a road trip through 4 states and had the majority of our items in this bag on top of our minivan. It’s absolutely enormous, and I probably would have been better off with a little bit smaller one. But on the plus side there was no worry about not fitting everything. I can’t speak for the waterproofness as we didn’t really have any rain on our trip. I had everything I garbage bags anyway, just in case it wasn’t waterproof. It took me awhile and a lot of adjusting to ensure everything was tight and secure, and took me quite a lot of miles to really trust that it was okay while driving 70mph, but it never moved! On our way home the pad under it had gotten bunched up a bit and the wind kept pushing it further and further back, but I think this was more so because the very front of the bag wasn’t as full as before. All in all, it did its job and didn’t get damaged at all.

Okay so this product. Some good things, It does hold a lot of stuff and has a lot of space. I got this one thinking I would need this much space, and likely it was too large for the amount of things I needed it for. I was using to go from Florida to Michigan. I also put it on a car that did not have a roof rack which the clips worked fine, I didn't have an issue with that. The seams on it were well sewn, and that part held up just fine.That is about all that this roof bag did well. I had read lots of reviews before purchasing and assumed that the leaking was user error. I'm not so sure that it was for most people.So, because this was on a car that did not have a roof rack, and because the bag was not fully filled up, it had low spots. I followed the directions regarding placement of the items in the bag, especially as the bag will not be completely full for the trip.The straps that held it down were long in a few places and I just shut them in the car door. Later on the drive, when it rained, the straps that went from the outside of the bag, to inside of the car, wound up wicking water, which ended up soaking things that were in the vehicle. Which was not ideal.The other low spots on the top of the car, pooled with water and ended up soaking things that were inside of the roof bag. I had made sure the seams were all flat, etc, again, following the directions.I feel like because the roof bag wasn't filled all the way up, that maybe it might not have leaked if it was filled as pictured. Additionally If the sedan I had this on, had a roof rack, there would not have been leaking inside of the vehicle.

I absolutely loved this cargo bag. I drove from Ontario to Nova Scotia and it held up without a single issue. Highly recommended.

Bought this for a trip driving from Utah to California and back. The carrier itself is good. Seems to be well made and will stand up for multiple trips. The flap over the zipper with velcro to keep it closed keeps out all rain - but be sure to put the logo in the front - it UNZIPS from back to front. We were able to get 3 sleeping bags, 4 duffel bags, 1 backpack, a couple pillows and several blankets inside and it wasn't completely full.My only complaint is that the "non slip mat" didn't. It was probably worse actually. Even with it strapped down HARD, the wind would get underneath the front and push the mat back until it would be flapping over the side of one of the windows.My carrier didn't slide, but it couldn't anyway because it was attached to the roof rails. I really only put the anti-slip mat on again for the return trip because I have a moon roof and I wanted to protect the glass from scratching as best as I could.They do have velcro on the ends of the longer, stronger straps which helps to tie them down so they aren't flapping. The smaller ones just need to be wrapped and tied.Overall I would say it's good for the price.

This bag survived a 16 hour round trip! It held 1 X-Large suitcase, 1 med suitcase, 2 child suitcases, a large dufflebag and 2 beach tents! The only problem we had was when tightening one of the smaller straps the buckle broke. Everything was still functional besides that strap and it all felt secure without it. I was worried about the straps loosening while going through gusty areas on the freeway but everything seemed fine. It lightly sprinkled and our luggage stayed dry (not sure how it would do in actual rain). Worth the buy for our family trip!

I drove 1700 miles with this on the roof of my Toyota 4 Runner, I had a short plastic bin that fit perfectly between my front and back rails and stuffed bags all around this, this did not move an inch. I have to admit I was a little afraid to try this because I was traveling alone but do not be afraid of this moving if properly installed! It didn't budge at all, but the anti slip mat did move and started bunching up at the end so I just pulled it out and now put it under my big dog bed on the hardwood floor so now that doesn't move 🙂 win win. Great quality and this is going to make my life so much easier because I do travel cross country a lot.. absolutely worth the money!

Bag looked great when it arrived. However, it was not waterproof and got a lot of our things wet. The seller was very quick to respond to us and resolve the issue, so i am giving 3 stars for getting our things there, the bag's quality material, and the straps were sturdy. The bag is super large and i recommend. Perhaps our bag may just have gotten damaged through mounting.
