I actually reached out to Wilson because I was wondering if this was a genuine, authentic Wilson product.I was concerned because TO ME, and I am no Pro Ball Player or Connoisseur , I was shocked by the apparent quality & workmanship & construction of this glove ... between the materials & the construction, it's seemingly worth *WAY MORE* than the price.Furthermore- I am quite particular in my gloves. I'm just an old man that wants a once-in-a-while glove for mostly-mens-slowpitch ... but I'm very finnicky with the glove. I like a large-sized , deep pocket, and this fits the bill with it's 14" ... the genuine leather construction in two-tone looks GREAT, lighter-tan-and-coal-black ... plus it has a padded, adjustable Velcro strap AND the main deal-breaker to me ... the index-finger hole AND a padded leather finger-tab ... it's EXTREMELY HARD to find these styles of gloves these days ... and sorry, I don't need nor want the $300-$500 fancy-'Pro'-versions they sell at Dick's Sporting Goods. I have been looking, on and off, for 3+ years for a new glove (because I threw my old one out, along with other personal things, in an act of mourning, after suffering a terrible personal loss..)- but I could never find one that looked like it would do the job, in a way/construction that I liked, in a color/style that I liked. This not only did it all, IT FITS AMAZINGLY, and has broken it very , very nicely in a quick manner!ProTip: I used Rawlings Glovolium 'advanced formula' , a 4oz bottle I got here on Amazon, and it works GREAT - because it's non-petroleum based conditioner with both Lanolin & an advanced version of "soap" , it does NOT darken the leather at all, and softens it up considerably!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
