I got this to make layered cake, but this pan has 8inches on the top and 7inches on the bottom, so it doesn’t make a straight cake, I had to cut and even the edges, so it’s not suitable for naked cakes.

Have 20+ year old pans. They still work fine. Need to line with foil or parchment paper as needed so you dont injest metal not recommended by doctors and perceived medical professionals. I digress…pans work as intended and food quality

I love these Wilton tins and purchased 3x8" after having purchased 9" ones last year. They are so easy to remove from the oven thanks to the little side handles and have a lovely weight to them and always produce a nicely balanced sponge. Would highly recommend for the serious bakers who want quality and decent baking equipment. Very reasonably priced considering some of the equipment on the market today and quite frankly does a better job.
