Very solid product . Used it to replace 8000 lb rated chains and it showed no signs that it was over burdened.

I like the fact that the load limit is higher than the cable I replaced with it. I had to replace the cable on my 6000 lb crane. This cable worked perfectly.

Im 51 yrs old, have owned/used winches for 30+ years, have 3 trucks right now with winches, am very conservative and careful when winching and have all the right equipment. I used this cable for the first time a few days ago in a snowstorm and had one of the outside strands snap while under load about 15 ft from the end. I was pulling a truck off a snow bank with and back onto the road, straight pull, no snatch blocks or anything, was easy and nothing major. I have never broken a cable, have never seen a "strand" (for lack of a better word) snap like this. My only thought is that this is a defect in the wire as there was nothing unusual going on, see photos. Was using a Warn 12000 winch set in a Warn bumper on an 05 Duramax. I am not one to ask others to pay for my mistake but in this case I did not make one. I will update after seeing what the seller does.

Great value.Thimble end has a very nice crimp with a taper so it won't hang up as bad when spooling back in.Much nicer than the factory Warn cable

well made,my last ATV winch cable lasted 14 years. each year for 14 years i used it to pull fire wood from forest. 5,000 - 12"x 16" peices per winter. winters can be long in the mountains. with proper care this cable should last as long.
