These will be worth the money! The rubber ones tear through quickly wigh use and are hard to press cabls through. These just clamp around easily wigh provided allen wrench. Weight about the same as traditional rubber stops

It's very soft. They should include nylon locknut to prevent the screws to unscrew. Regular nuts are not practical because we can't tight the screws that much because it is rubber so the screws will became loose by the time. You put stainless steel locknut and you just tight a bit and it's done forever. Instead of that, the product is very good quality and soft. It makes the job perfectly. I didn't install it directly on the wire, i tight it on the wire connecting joint because the size is perfect. On the wire, it is too loose and it is floating.

It does its job and protects the winch hook etc. it really is designed for the new synthetic ropes, but still works on a cable.
