If you need a jacket that will keep you warm at the start of the trail but won't overheat when your heart rate goes up, the Origins Bombshell is the jacket for you. The dual-layer Dry Breathe material is designed to be fully windproof while keeping your inside layers cool and dry on the uphill climbs.
We'll be the first to admit that this shell is not 100% waterproof. However, it repels water surprisingly well and protects you from light to moderate rain. After testing countless "waterproof" jackets over the years, we've found most waterproof jackets still let in water at the seams and even worse, are not breathable, making you feel like you're wearing a wet garbage bag. Not the makings of a great day out.

COMFORT
Core to the Dry Breathe design, the high quality, soft inner mesh layer traps warm air while letting moisture out. Soft to the touch and moisture-wicking, this inner mesh layer will keep you comfortable all day.
TAKE IT ANYWHERE
Super light-weight and packable. Fold it up, scrunch it up, and stuff it in your trusty hip pack or back pack when you don't need it.
UNDER HELMET HOOD
A specially designed cinch hood made to fit under the helmet. The hood has the same dual layer with premium inner mesh to keep your head warm and dry on those extra cold and wet days.

It's the small details that count. The Bombshell has easy-to-grip, quality zippers that just work each time. Simple, no-fuss, elastic cuffs. collar zipper flap to protect your chin, and a reflective safety stripe on the back.

The more I wear this jacket for bike riding here on the central east coast of Vancouver Island, the more I like it. Perect for the various weather conditions here, except the rain. Very durable, well made and designed. Really like that this is a local BC product, obviously made by folks who ride.

Is it worth it. I dunno. I regret it. Its ok as a wind shell. It is the bare minimum, no vents, and will certainly protect ya from mud, but so will any fabric. I don't think i would consider this rain resistant. Has no draw strings or vents so expect to sweat unless ya open it up.It looks nice. it is very light. I wouldn't purchase another one.

Nice design , fit well , at 1st look dosent seem really resistant to tear but after 1 year it as no damage and zip still goes like new.

Very happy with this jacket. Keeps the rain off and keeps me surprisingly warm in the colder weather, but is incredibly lightweight and folds into nothing for easy packing. Not as breathable as I would've wanted, on 5°C or lower days I still arrive to work with sweat stains, but I guess that's the price for the water repellency.I chose this jacket because NSG seems to be a very small and new business, their site shows just this one product, sold only through Amazon. This doesn't seem to be a dropshipped, rebranded template product, which is what I was looking for. So I'm happy to support the little guys. I hope to see more products from them eventually.

Needed a jacket for mountain biking, picked this up and it’s exactly what I hoped. Comfy, breathable, lightweight, and still keeps me dry. Easy to stuff into my pack. Looks good too, and the price is right compared to all the gear at my local shop. Good quality jacket, would definitely recommend.
