I really like this privacy film. I used it in my bathroom where I have plants. It allows for privacy while allowing my plants to get sun.

I love that they came with a tool kit for an easy install other brands don't offer that.

This film comes with a clear backing with reference cutting lines which make it so much easier to apply. Was super easy to just clean the window, measure, cut and then peel of the clear backing to apply to the window. Was also able to readjust the placement easily. Cuts cleanly using scissors or a sharp blade. This film is very slightly opaque, so it does offer some hiding of any discoloration in the window. You can still see object through the glass, so there is limited privacy provided. Allows plenty of light to come through, too.

If you’re wanting to have a little privacy, but yet get some light into your home these privacy window clings are the perfect thing. We have a new home, but they are close together so I’ve done the privacy clings on various windows and in this case, I got this particular design for the living room since it matches the new curtains, I just put up. I did have to piece it, but can’t tell. It’s quite easy to put up just takes maybe 15 minutes to do one window because you have to get the water on the window first, but then you have to get as much of it out as you can so make sure you have a ruler, metal works best. a cutter, a towel, a credit card or the provided scraper, and a spray bottle of water. I find that Windex works too. Spray and clean your windows first and then spray them again and be generous with the water , cut your piece accordingly first , there are grid lines to follow on the back for the initial cut. I cut them a little bit bigger so that I could get a great fit afterwords . At first you think that they’re not sticking but they will ! take a credit card or the plastic piece they provide and just start from the middle and push the water outward and keep wiping with your towel. It’ll be quite a bit of water. The hardest part first was getting the front apart from its backing. Then I looked up if there was an easier way and what you do is take two pieces of tape one on each side, then pull and it will come apart much easier than fighting with it and try to get your fingernails under it Then after that you apply it the piece and like I say work on it get it positioned cut it accordingly. In my case I had to add another piece because the window was wider and there was a specific direction to this particular design. Some you can run either way. It is not perfectly match, but you cannot tell it looks just like it does match and you can’t see where I bumped them up to each other I love the privacy. I also love the light coming into the room. They are staying in place now. They’ve been there for over a week maybe two weeks. They quality is excellent. The colors are so pretty and you have many other choices if this is not the style you want. It’s a very inexpensive way to get some privacy and easy to remove when the time comes that you want to change them. I would think they would also provide a bit of help with any kind of heat loss. If you have older windows definitely worth the low cost.

I love privacy film. Love love it. When I first moved into this home the neighbors were so nosy that they would just stand outside across the street and stare. I can only assume the people who lived here before me were monsters or something but I needed a way to keep those peering eyes out of my windows. So I became a privacy film snob and I put some across all of the windows inside of my house that face the road. There's only one problem though. I forgot to do the two windows in the carport. The neighbors love to look in my carport see if my car is there. I have no idea what their fascination with me or this house is but I ordered this privacy film to put over my carport windows. All you do is wash your window very well and then let it dry. Cut your film to the size you need and spray your window until it's dripping wet with just some plain distilled water. Peel the back off of your film and stick it to the window. From the middle going outwards to the edge of the window you can use either an old rag or a credit card (maybe both) to begin smoothing it out. It's going to get really messy so have some towels laying at the bottom of the windows. Patiently and carefully wipe it until it's smooth and all of the air bubbles are gone. It's currently 20° at my house and I'm not going to go mess with water and privacy film in this weather but once this cold snap breaks I'm going to be out there putting a stop to this nosiness. I did open it it's very pretty and I can't wait to put it on my windows. Amazon is asking me to talk about heat loss which I can't speak to because it's going outside. I can say since the other windows in my house are covered with this film it has not helped with heat loss at all. But it's very very pretty and has disabled people from seeing straight through my house. I highly recommend privacy film!!!Update: it took me less than 30 minutes to put this up tonight. It is slightly thinner and easier to cut than the privacy film I put on the rest of my windows. Even better. It was so easy to cut to the shape I needed it. I just laid it in the window, opened a pair of scissors, and use them like a box cutter to slice around the shape of the window. Peeled off the back, saturated the windows (after thoroughly cleaning them with Windex and paper towels) and stick. Then wipe all the bubbles out. Love it! Nosey neighbors can't see in my carport when walking by anymore AND it's pretty :D
