This tint is 2mil thick and is relatively easy to work with. You can apply it to flat windows with a heat gun or have it applied by a professional.

How to apply window tint easily
Clean Up The Windows
Combine dish soap with warm water, spray or apply to both window sides, thoroughly cleaning to ensure all residue is removed.
Dry The Window
Wipe away the soapy water on both sides and dry off the edges as well. Make sure the windows are dry and eliminate static electricity.
Cutting and Measuring Tint
Measure the size of the window and allow about 2-3mm trimming margin around the edges. Cut the tint with a knife, keeping the edges flat.
Peel off the top half of tint
Spray a small amount of soapy water evenly on the windows. Peel off the top half of the peelable layer on the tint to make it easier to work with.
Adhere The Tint To Window
Align film, begin application from one edge, smoothly working towards the other to prevent air bubbles, using ample soapy water throughout.
Use Kit To Push Water Out
Use the car tint tool to scrape from the center outward, squeezing out water and air bubbles while scraping to avoid scratching the film surface.
Pull off The Release Layer
Spray the inside of the film with soapy water and peel off the remaining peelable layer on the tint, making sure the windows and tint are wet.
Pushing All The Water
Work down and out, spraying tint with soapy water to avoid tears, and continually squeegee water from the film.

no instructions in the box. does not mention that you have to remove the clear layer before applying. The box says it includes a squeegee --- it does NOT. the film is HORRIBLE to apply, and when it dries, there are hideous viens of haze from the water activated adhesive ( which is BTW under the clear layer, that they forgot to tell you to remove). The overall result is a total waste of time and money. CAN'T RETURN IT ONCE IT IS CUT and stuck to your windows, which by the way, you will have to spend even longer with a heat gun and razor blades to get it off you glass!!!

Had to buy an applicator. The tint had wrinkle an some scratches but fortunately I had enough after cutting off and trashing first 12 inches. Medium quality tint that I put on my sxs windows. Would upgrade to 3m tint for my car though.

**Product Review: Window Tint Film**Overall, this is a great product, but if you have not done tinting before, I strongly recommend taking it to a professional or a tint shop. My husband and I tried tinting my Kia Rio, doing the two back windows. However, we ran out of film because we had to redo a few windows. Even after redoing them, my OCD kicked in, and I was unhappy with the final product. There were a few bubbles and imperfect corners that I couldn’t overlook, so we removed all the film about 10 to 20 minutes after finishing the installation.I can't really comment on durability, but once you do your research—like we did by watching a few how-to tint videos and learning how to properly cut and measure—installation is actually fairly easy. In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s okay. We didn’t leave the tint on my windows for the full 2 weeks to allow it to properly dry and see the final finished product.However, I can speak to its versatility and performance. Even with a bit of water underneath and not fully dried, it provided an almost complete blackout as advertised, with 5% visibility. It definitely delivers on its promise, making it worth the money if you’re looking for that level of darkness.

First and foremost, this product makes a difference in keeping your car cooler from the sun. It blocks a lot of heat and you can feel the difference inside the car right away.It is on the thicker side of films I have tried, which makes it a little more challenging to install. I would recommend that if you don't have experience installing film, you are better off giving it to a professional.Having said that, if you watch some YouTube videos and are patient enough to learn along the way, you will not be disappointed with this product.
