We received 8 inches of snow yesterday and it was incredibly easy to clean my windshield this morning. I just lifted one side and was able to clear the entire windshield with one pull. No scrapping or using de-icer.

I liked the magnets, but the side mirror covers are attached to the windshield cover. In my case, it was too small for my Mercedes Benz GLE350.

Vorweg: man braucht das richtige Auto, um wirklich was von dieser Abdeckung zu haben. Auf unseren Kombi passt sie wie maßangefertigt, den Mini hätte ich darin einwickeln können. Da aber in der Beschreibung explizit steht "...für große Autos wie SUV..." weiß man, was einen erwartet.Diese Abdeckung ist die mit Abstand beste, die ich als Sonnenschutz je verwendet habe. Zuerst einmal ist sie nicht nur ausreichend groß, sondern riesig. Und zwar nicht in Bezug auf die Breite, sondern die Höhe. Sie liegt bestimmt gute zehn Zentimeter auf dem Dach und mindestens 30 Zentimeter auf der Motorhaube auf. Der besondere Clou sind die beiden Taschen links und rechts, die für die Außenspiegel sind. Das mag auch zum Schutz der Spiegel dienen, sorgt aber vor allem auch dafür, dass die Abdeckung wirklich gut sitzt und auch an Ort und Stelle bleibt. Gegen Verrutschen und/oder Diebstahl hat die Abdeckung noch an beiden Seiten Laschen, die man in der Autotür einklemmen kann. Zum guten Schluß: diese Sonnenschutzfolie ist von unten gefüttert. Da sie wie gesagt an Dach und Motorhaube aufliegt, verkratzt da nichts.Alles in allem ein Produkt, das die volle Punktzahl verdient hat.

Got one for me and my sister this season. If you use them quite often eventually after a few years the black fabric part will start to crumble away but just get a new one after that. Perfect for snowy days and some serious sun protection. I used my first one when I lived in my car. Great privacy!
