I was pleasantly surprised by how well the owls were packaged. None of the four had any damage even though our local delivery drivers tend to be a little rough with packages. The set came with everything needed for one person to be able to paint the owls, and I will supplement with other brushes and paints I already have so the whole family can paint our owls at the same time.

My daughters, grandsons and I painted these for my soon-to-be born granddaughter's room. They were bigger than I expected and so darling! They were packaged securely, but it was just thin brown cardboard and styrofoam - so definitely not gift worthy packaging. I was worried that we would run out of paint - but we had just enough. It wouldn't hurt to buy a little bit of extra paint. I was very pleased with how they turned out.

Bought these for my 2 year old daughter and I to paint. We used our own paints so I can't speak to the paint quality but it does seem like a very small amount of paint for 4 owls. The owls are now part of our fall decorations.
