Off the bat, these worked much better than other similar wireless thermometers I'd picked up from Amazon. I was actually very relieved that I didn't have to install some mystery app on my phone and could just use the included base station most of the time. The app looks nice enough but I really hate cluttering my phone with dozens of proprietary apps that tend to break with each OS update or are a nightmare to pair.At one point I was annoyed that the probes were acting up, not pairing, acting like they weren't charging, etc. Thanks to another review, I realized that it mattered which slot you store them in between use, and that resolved most of my problems.The only reason my rating isn't 5 stars, is because the probes sometimes lose connection or die for no discernible reason during cooking; the best I can guess is that some small amount of moisture is getting inside and turning to steam and messing with the electronics. As soon as the probe cools down it will work fine again, and this only happens on occasion, but is enough to warrant a mention. I've learned to just use both probes at the same time in case one decides to quit on me. Still, far more useful and convenient than having to take food out, removing foil or lids, or reaching into a hot smoker with a traditional thermometer.They seem to be pretty accurate, reading the same as my instant-read thermapen on the few times I've bothered to check.

Originally I had some issues on my first order but it seems like I got a defective one. After hearing about the problem, the company hastily solved the issue and sent me a new one and now it works flawlessly! I like the design of the standalone console as well as how thin the probes are! Thank you again for the great customer service

I used this meat thermometer for the first time recently! The process of setting up the app took me a while but in saying that I’m 77 yrs old and possibly the last person in the free world to own a telephone not attached to a cord! I really loved the fact I was able to sit in my chair, watch a movie and be able to calculate the cooking time for my beef roast. Everything worked out well and I felt the roast came out cooked just as I expected!

Lots of these on the market so went for middle of the range. Planning a large joint for Christmas so wanted it perfect. Have done a couple of test runs and really please with the results (especially if you like it rare). Easy to operate on both base and smartphone and the benefit of two probes. Would recommend

UPDATE 12/17/2024The company reached out to me and stated that it sounded like I received a defective product. Three days later I received a new one in the mail. Amazing customer service! Looking forward to testing these out!I wanted to like these, they were everything we needed for Thanksgiving. We had two turkeys going in roasters so I couldn’t lift the lid to check temps. They started out great and then about 30 minutes in to cooking, one would lose signal. They were both close to the transmitter. One would come back and the other would drop…until I couldn’t get one to come back. I ended up having to open the lid and use another thermometer to finish the job. So disappointing.

UPDATEI am pleased to say the company Showmore US store stood behind their products and provided me with a complete replacement which I am happy to say works perfectly. I would recommend this product and now updated it to 5 stars.Device worked initially, however probe lost Bluetooth connection both on phone app and accompanying case readout when tried separately. Will try again but not holding out hope. Tried numerous times to reconnect Bluetooth to no avail. Lost connection at 90F so temperature was not the issue..Would like another sent to try otherwise I'll be sending back for refund.

The probes give different temperatures even at room temp. One of them kept giving error that the probe was not inserted even though it was. Unit was fully charged but turned itself off half way through cooking. Had to use my manual $3 meat thermometer. So disappointing and return window past. A lot of money for something that can't replace my manual thermometer.
