My boy gets constant hotspots And while we work it out with the vet on what's causing them He needs to be In a cone. But.He has a long neck for a cat. And was constantly able to stretch and lick over top of his cone. I needed a cone ideally around 7 inches tall. This cone is 6.1 inches and works just fine. I was skeptical of the snaps, but they are heavy duty and don't bother my boy

My cat has skin issues and anxiety.This works well to keep him from picking obsessively and chewing his fur out.I suggest you buy 2 so you can keep a fresh one on your pet while you clean the other one,otherwise the wet catfood will start to smell.I love that it's not covered in material like other cones I bought.It's super easy to clean,very durable,and if there is any plastic left over after you fit it,the plastic is thin enough to trim with scissors.Round the edges,so they don't scrape you,others,or your other pets.If you need a cone for your pet,this is the best option.Get it!!

Both connection points of the snaps were all pointed in the same direction, so you can overlap the material and connect. Seems like this passed through production without QA inspection

My cat has allergies and occasionally gets hot spots on her legs from it. She also has only a couple teeth remaining due to having stomatitis when I adopted her so she tends to drool quite a bit. The ease of being able to wash this cone off in the sink vs a washing machine is super convenient. The length of the cone is also perfect for her to not be able to reach her legs (where other cones have been too short and she was able to stretch past the cone enough to still reach the hotspots) we also have a dog that likes to get into her litter, and being in a small space we had to buy a litter enclosure so he wouldn’t be able to get in but she would be able to fit comfortably with a cone on and this has worked for that as well. We also like that it is clear because she has an easier time seeing and getting around without bumping into things. The cost is great as well! The only thing I’ve had to work around is part of the cone kind of sticks out when we adjust the size around her neck. She is a pretty small cat and we had to snap the cone on the smaller size so there ends up being extra material on the other end. (Kind of ends up looking like the shape of the number 6 and not circular around her neck if that makes sense) We added some adhesive Velcro to that end to completely and seamlessly have the cone be round again and it works great- especially for the cost of the product! 😊

Easy to use. Would have worked perfectly if it was a size larger. I would size up. Great from the cost and if sized right it would be comfortable for my dog.

if you have a cat with long limbs or is extremely flexible, this cone is for you. my cat has some over grooming spots on his leg and this was the only cone long enough to keep him from getting to it. easy to clean as well as it is plastic.

So needless to say I’m just going to go to federal supply and find one. Has to be better than this.
