I picked this one because I didn't want the same orange handled one that everyone else at work has. Tool works great but is not the same version.

Just a high quality bender that I have had for about a year works great. I use it on metal roofing for folding various metal pieces where larger benders dont fit.

Dont waste your time with knock off and cheaper brands. You can not tell the difference looking at them but when you use them you'll know why you spent the extra cash. From the locking mechanisms that keep them closed while in your tool box to the mechanisms that is applying force when you squeeze the handle. Superior straightners.

Recently had a new variable speed Carrier furnace/blower installed, replacing a similar one that was over 13 years old and had catastrophically failed. My HVAC installers increased the return duct and return grill to the back of the house, just outside master bedroom. The air movement is awesome now but the new grill had an annoying harmonic resonance tone, particularly noticeable with cooling and even with heat at night. After lots of online research and several online suggestions from HVAC pros, I invested in this tool in order to open the return grill fins just a bit to hear if that made a difference, short of calling the pros back, replacing the grill, installing a new plenum above the return or the like. Worked liked a charm!! Easy peasy. Just grip with the tool and open the fins with one motion. Once I had opened up the two middle fin rows central to the 16inch duct opening above the grill (in ceiling), the harmonics lessened. Opened up each immediately outside rows to those two, and the harmonics stopped. The air movement noise remains slightly perceptible when I stand immediately under the return, but even then, it's not annoying. Worked very well!! Might or might not resolve your similar issue, but worth a try, I'd think before moving on to something more drastic of costly.

This is a great product. It grips metal evenly and makes it very easy to make bends right where you need them. The alignment marks on the lip eliminate the need to measure the distance on each bend.

Very sturdy and works well. Plates aren't perfectly aligned, but I don't think it matters, hasn't been an issue. I'm surprised the arms aren't longer to allow bends deeper than 1-1/4.

It does the job. I have not identified any weak points.

Well made heavy but works great .. you can put in many different angles and it holds your metal well.

I use this tool to crimp hand-made key chains. A little duct tape applied to the plates (so it won't scratch the key fob) and they're perfect. The grip is small enough for me to use one hand. They have enough weight to them to make them sturdy but not so much that I get tired using them even after doing 50+ keychains in an hour.

Great price, and from a well known brand in the trades. Only problem with the tool is that the jaws are not even on the top edge. I kept them any way because I needed them for work, and didn't want to wait or bother with returning. I previously owned several Malco seamers (lost them). I liked them better but they are almost twice the cost. Over all an ok tool.
