I’ve been searching for a nightgown that is lightweight, silky smooth, flattering fit and high quality for years! This nightgown is all that and more. I’m so impressed with the fabric which is very fine gauge jersey knit because it drapes so beautifully and feels like you’re not wearing anything. This is perfect for warm summer temps. I’ll be buying more and gifting this to friends and family!

This is a nice night dress/slip, its very soft, comfortable and does an amazing job dealing with night sweats. No more waking up soaking wet and cold with drenched nighty and sheets.. I wish I would have know about this material years ago as I have heath issues that can cause terrible night sweats. My only real problem is the sizing, I followed the sizing chart and since it put me between sizes I looked at the reviews and also took into consideration that Chinese sizing runs really small for a tall Dutch woman,so I opted for the size up. As I have gotten a size XL dress from other Chinese made companies and it wouldn't have even fit me when i was 12 years old, their thigh high thick warm socks were the size of a sm tube socks and thin like stockings, so I am very weary of buying clothing online. Anyway when got this night dress in the mail it was definitely big, but I thought that it being a little loose wasn't a big deal, and that it would likely shrink a bit in the wash. Unfortunately with every wear it streached out further and further and I looked like a child playing in my mothers clothes, and washing it only got it close to its original too big size. I didn't contact the seller for an exchange as I live in an area where a trip to the nearest shipper would cost me almost as much as the item itself including return shipping, and I had already worn and washed it. So this isnt a criticism of their customer service, I just think that others should be aware of this as womens sizing varies so widely from company to company, and across the world. These are defiantly western sizes not Asian ones, and I feel like they are on the bigger side of the western sizes as well. Now comes the part that ppl are likely to get bent out of shape about. I read a bunch of other womens reviews that were claiming that these dresses ran small, but it seems to me that we have a case of women who are bigger than they want to admit are claiming that the sizes run small rather than excepting that they are in fact quite X-large. I don't know how someone who weighs over 200lbs and is under 5'4" in height thinks that they are a regular LG or even a med. Now I had ordered a similar dress from another company in the same size and while it was a bit on the loose side it fit ok, but did stretch out a lot during wear, so these sizes definitely run bigger than other sellers using the same sizing charts. I have since bought other similar night dresses or slips in the next size down and from other companies on amazon, and some of them fit great while one was still to large, so I had to gift that one to a friend and order myself an even smaller size. I really don't understand how there is so much variation in sizes when I'm going by my exact measurements using a seamstresses tape measure, and always check which form of measurement they are using. Last time I checked inches and cm are the same across the globe.

I was afraid it wouldn't be stretchy enough (since it's a bamboo based fabric and I've never encountered such a fabric material before), but it fits perfectly. I am 5'6", 153 lbs and 6 months pregnant with my belly expanded to 41" at the largest point, I ordered my pre-maternity size (medium) and it was just right. It doesn't pull like it's overstretched... it might be close to that point, but I'm stubborn and didn't want to get the large for fear I'd never be able to use it after the baby comes. I included the photo so anyone else around my size considering this item can get a better idea of which size to get. Being a slip, it's thin (as expected) so it's not exactly opaque, but I got it with the intention of using it under a dress which itself is already reviewed as also being a thin material so it'll be fine for what I need it for. It's cute and super soft, but just as a forewarning, it does have an intense rubber smell right out of the package that I'm not worried about washing out since it's already dissipated after an hour or so.
O.K.

I actually love this item, surprisingl! Washes really well, maintains shape, and is still super comfortable. I've had almost a year with frequent wear.

decided it was time for a new uniform and wanted something radically different from the black shirt + black pants I've been wearing for decades, so a few weeks ago I bought three (of the same) dresses from an online outlet. because buying anything online is a crap shoot I just crossed my fingers and hoped they'd be okay for office wear, and because they're rayon (a fabric with wild variances in quality) I prayed I could stand to feel them against my skin for eight hours at a stretch.when the dresses arrived I was blown away. the construction is beautiful, and the rayon is bamboo! my favorite fabric since discovering bamboo pillow covers (then bamboo panties). the bamboo rayon isn't scratchy or coarse, it's silky and feels wonderful against my skin, but the dresses are slightly see-through and require full slips. the fabric is mostly white, with a sparse black "mod" print. I have a black satin slip which works, but need another since I'm wearing the dresses many days per week. decided to mix it up and get a white one.immediately began looking for a slip made of bamboo and chose this one because of the reviews, even though it's off-white. ordered the largest size (the dress is very loose and "floaty," and I wanted the same feel in the slip) which definitely runs small so it's slightly clingy, but the fabric is stretchy to the max so no problem there. when I wear this slip and the dress, it feels like I'm wearing a cloud. fantastic for life in the tropics.this bamboo slip is amazing! love the adjustable straps, too, but mostly it's about the fabric. it's gorgeous and unbelievably soft. it's also extremely lightweight and cool even though thick and luxurious. I understand why some reviewers use this slip as a nightgown and why others would wear it as a dress. it gives my new dresses a different look than when wearing the black slip, and I like both. but if the black satin slip ever wears out I'm replacing it with bamboo.again, the sizes on this slip do run small so I'd order a size up, but I would absolutely order asap. they cost more than I'd usually spend on a slip but I went for it because bamboo and because I got such an incredible deal on the dresses (originally $110 on sale for $12) a splurge felt okay. totally worth it!!! had I no self control I would already have ordered a black one...
