This incredible 80wt silk like 2-ply cottonized polyester thread carries a textured matte finish that has been treated to behave more like cotton and eliminate stretch while also feeling soft in the hand. Delicate but incredibly strong, this lightweight thread ensures stitching becomes less bulky and designs softer while the fine weight also allows for more acute miters, rounder and smoother curves and makes for super low bulk stitches that virtually “Disappear”. Used for delicate machine embroidery, hand and machine appliqué, free motion quilting, stippling, english paper piecing or whenever you don’t want your stitching to show. Enjoy the soft feel of this silk-like thread for stitches that are hardly noticeable.

Very thin. I’m using it for epp hexagons. You have to get used to the slippery feel of it. It doesn’t break and colors are great

I love using this thread for English Paper Piecing. It's a great weight for me and the colors match well with fabric. I find it doesn't tangle easily and have never had it break.

This is an excellent thread for English Paper Piecing. It is 80 weight yet very strong and nearly invisible when whip stitching or using a ladder stitch. I was a loyal Aurifil 50 weight cotton thread lover but prefer the strength of this cotton poly plied thread.
