Despite washing these boards several times in hot soapy water and leaving them in the fresh air for a few hours, these cutting boards still have a strong, unpleasant smell. Wouldn’t recommend as I’m not happy with this purchase.

These cutting boards have replaced my plastic ones, which are now known to release plastic particles and chemicals into food as you’re cutting. These wooden boards are nice and think and feel like a good, solid quality. They haven’t cracked at all like other wooden boards have. Keeping them out of the dishwasher has definitely kept them looking new and without any cracks.

While these will be usable, I was embarrassed to gift these when there were blemishes right out of the packaging. There was a huge gash in one of the boards, and a crack down another that seemed to be repaired with some type of glue that created a raised rough edge down the middle of the board.

Edit : seller reached out to me and kindly offered a full refund.This is after only four months of occasional use, 1-2x week! I hand cleaned and dried after each use and oiled with a cutting board oil product. The black is mold, and the large board has cracked. I tried vinegar, baking soda, and even set them out in the sun to try to get rid of the mold with no luck

If you’ve seen the other reviews, the scratches are no joke. I wish I’d looked at more before buying. Would not get again. Poor quality and difficult to clean. The wood is pretty but it scratches fast. Best used only as a serving board and not for cutting anything.
