#Instruction
1.After the furnace cools down, remove the old gasket.
2. Then clean up the residual glue marks until the metal groove is exposed and wipe the groove clean.
3. Trim the length of the gasket to your needs.
4.Wear gloves and attach the new gasket, when the water evaporates completely. Then the fireplace can be used immediately.

I needed to reseal the door glass on my wood stove. After measuring what was left of the original gasket I found that this one seemed to be the one that I needed. After receiving this gasket tape I installed it into the door. The fit was perfect. The gasket adhered to the door glass perfectly making installation a breeze.Now I don’t know how this gasket will behave once heat is applied since that I have not yet built a fire this season but I don’t believe that there will be a problem.

Be very careful pulling off the yellow tape so not to take the adhesive tape with it. Tried putting the clear adhesive sticky tape back on the seal, it did not adhere very good. I probably should have returned it, however I was in need to use it right away.

If your stove door has more than 1/4" gap this isn't the gasket for you. It did go on quite easily and is nicely priced
