If you have the space to get this rather large tool in, it’s great. This is way more simple to use and much stronger than the more compact tools for this. You’ll want a different container to put all the included rivnuts in (or at least I did).

Tool works fine. You have to be careful with the pressure you use to squeeze the handles. Too much and you will jam the machine; the mandrel will get stuck in the nut. Too little and the nut will not grab the work correct; it will spin in the work instead of becoming fastened. As you use the tool you will become used to it. Your first few nut installations won't come out right until you have some practice. It won't take long. I did about 50 successful nuts so far. I blew it with 7.

Update****The vendor reached out to me, and sent me a new kit. No fuss no hassle. Stand up group.I took apart the first tool and found the thread on collar that holds the arbor in place had cracked. I will do some more rivet nuts and update later.I did a total of 5 (1/2 inch) rivet nuts. It broke on the 5th. The cheap threaded rod that holds the arbor will not hold any pressure.

I had 8 rivets to do on my Peterbilt to transfer to dual exhaust. All but one went great. The tool threads got screwed up & had to send it back for a replacement. They sent me a new one to replace it.
