Went on a small trip. Packed 2 days worth of clothing in a Shad topcase. 200 miles in and rack broke, nearly lost all my belongings. Total weight was no more than 25 lbs. Would not trust for luggage on longer trips.

Loosely bolt each part on so it can still move, be careful of rubbing/paint scraping, straighten/align all the parts, tighten. Backrest goes inside the frame mounts and luggage rack goes on the outside. 12mm nuts and 4 or 5 mm hex. Look at the picture on Amazon because there were no instructions included. Still a great product for the price. Would have liked black hardware but I’m just being picky.

This fits my 2022 Honda rebel CMX 300 perfectly! It was a bit tough getting the bolts on the bike loose but once I did it was a super easy install and it looks great!

Purchased this for my Honda Rebel 300 ABS because the OEM is too expensive and seems to not hold a lot of weight. I also didn't like the design of the OEM rack. This rack is great! I can use it without the passenger back rest if I want to. I can also use just the backrest and take off the rack.Like other reviewers have said, the screws that hold the backrest pad to the backrest suck. I took a trip to the hardware store and for like $5 I got screws and nuts to hold this together better.-1 star for the rust though. The screws that it came with rust easy. Also there are some exposed parts of the rack where welding wasn't done well or something and rain can easily get inside and start rusting.

Like others have said, fairly easy install if you take your time, although some included instructions would help. Seems solid, ready to go.Not sure how I feel about the back rest being held on with 2 wood screws, but time will tell on that one.

Fits good and lines up with factory bolts. Be sure to use a bit of locktite when re-installing the bolts.

I would give it five stars, but the tolerances from the part were very tight, and I am concerned about possible paint where from installing this item and having it on there.

Despite the fact that it did not come with directions, it was relatively easy to figure out. The screws are chrome (plated) but should definitely be black. Also, the wood screws to connect the back pad will likely fall out after a while (due to vibration), so I would suggest using a small bolt (and nut on the inside of the zipped leather cover) - I did this and it looks and feels much better.Overall I think it is a great product, and considering the price difference I still think this is the best bang for the buck and I would purchase it again.

J'avais peur de brisé le look de ma rebel 500 en ajoutant un sissy bar "pour ma copine" et je me suis commander la vitre "nouvelle génération Honda Rebel 500 17-21 C/Smoke, modèle 9462H". Deux achats que je ne regrette pas! Sur les photos, je met la moto AVANT et APRÈS avec ma nouvelle vitre "Puig" et mon sissy bar. je vous recommande a tous ces achats sans hésitation!

There were no installation instructions but the photos in the Amazon listing were sufficient to quickly install it. I followed a recommendation in several reviews to use bolt and nut to attach the seat rather than the wood screws provided. Screws would not have lasted very long.Pros:- looks good and seems sturdy- easy to install.Cons:- wood screws are provided to attach the seat. Converting to bolt/nut took more time than the rest of the installation.- trim of bike is black but this product comes with chrome/silver bolts and nuts. Should be black. Touch up paint solves this unnecessary problem.- no installation instructions included in the packaging
