Really nice compact reciprocating saw from Worx. Comes with a quality tool bag to keep everything together, which I like to see. The saw itself has good trigger control, and feels well balanced in the hand. Overall this saw is exactly as described, and performs as expected.

Strong, long battery life. If you've got the right blade, this will cut through anything. Awesome purchase!

I'm using my own blades and this thing cuts through wood like it's nothing. Just to give it a bit of a test, I cut a variety of materials. I tried cutting PVC, metal pipes and even a brick I had just laying around the garage. No problems. I was using my own blades on all of this stuff. I did use one of the included blades but I just didn't like it as much as my own so I switched it out. It worked but just didn't cut wood as smoothly as I wanted. This saw offers a 1" stroke and 3,000 strokes per minute, that with the variable speed, makes for easy control and an overall good performance. It's compact and lightweight, easily able to use it one-handed to get into more tight spaces. The counterbalance design does actually seem to help with reducing vibrations as advertised. At least it seems so for me when compared to other models that I've used for the same jobs. It's great for DIY and you could probably get away with using it for some professional work in a pinch. I am happy with it and for my needs, it's nearly perfect.

WORX is a familiar brand to me. I've mostly used their yard and lawn tools prior to now. I have a slew of 20V batteries which I used for the string trimmer and for the portable power washer I have from them. All the batteries I have are interchangeable, so I thought it might be a good idea to have more uses for those batteries. Enter this cordless reciprocating saw. They are commonly referred to as the sawzall which references a particular brand. What really makes this an interesting saw to me is the balance. It is set up on a modified drill layout, which makes the balance more evenly distributed and actually a more comfortable grip than the standard layout. It has a heavy duty blade clamp as well. It appears to be a nice medium duty tool, capable of doing heavy work occasionally, but perfect for limbs, packaging, pallets, and things like that.Nice powerful brushless motor and a good ergonomic design on top of the WORX battery versatility make this a handy and versatile choice for me. I haven't had a WORX tool let me down yet, and I have confidence this saw will be of a similar experience over time.

I got this reciprocating saw to break down some long 2x4s I had around the house so I could use them for other purposes like building a garden planter. Also helped a friend process an elk they got earlier in the season. This made sawing much easier and processing time way faster than hand tools. Overall this worked great. I love the cordless and brushless design. If you’re concerned about power with cordless, I wouldn’t. Unless you’re doing heavy jobs, this should be fine for almost all DIY work, which is likely what you need if you’re looking at this price point. If you have a lot of work to do at once though, you should probably pick up an extra larger capacity battery that can be your main driver and then use the smaller included one as back up when your main one is charging. While I’d love the batteries to be interchangeable with my Dewalt family of tools, battery connections are proprietary across brands so the only consideration I’d recommend is if you’re building your tool library from scratch you may want to consider what tools you’d want to have interchangeable batteries for and whether there are any potential downsides to being “locked in” to the Worx brand. A ton of tools now come in kits like this one with battery and charger included though and individual batteries or chargers can be sourced pretty easily and cheaply so it’s not a huge deal, but just something to know before you trigger purchase a new tool.No other concerns or watch outs. It’s easy to assemble and use, comfortable to hold, and comes with everything you need to get started. For small to medium jobs around the home, you should be very happy with this.

I am very impressed with this reciprocating saw! I have tried other cordless saws like this and they don't have power or don't last long. This has both power and stamina! I charged it up and went out to cut down some of my wood pile to better fit my fire pit and this saw made it through a dozen 3-inch hardwood logs without breaking a sweat or running out of battery! Very impressed! Fit and finish is a bit minimalistic, but feels very sturdy and well-built. Highly recommended!
