Overall just better than the drawstring that comes with most athletic shorts and pants, so a great replacement for when the cord finally wears out.

You can pull the center section out to make two drawstrings for the price of one. Sturdy and does the job. Is fairly comfortable

It was a little bit wider than I expected it to be, and completely white. It's rounded cord, so not flat like the picture makes it look. I was able to use it, but definitely not what I expected.

So far, this has worked as predicted by favorable replies. No shrinkage is very welcomed - the last material I used did shrink dramatically and was then useless. The string grips itself nicely and is working very well as a replacement for shoestring-like waist cords in a number of new tennis shorts. (The previous tended to slip badly so I was constantly having to adjust tightness during play - a complete nuisance!) In combination with the "Easy Threader Flexible Needle Drawstring replacement and craft tool" I have now fixed four pairs of tennis shorts and one pair of sweatpants in which the drawstring had started unraveling.

Perfect for sweatpants where the drawstring has worn out. My husband and I both use this as a replacement. Sturdy enough for drawstring. Some that look similar, but are softer are only for sewing projects I think.

I have lost considerable weight and hate to have to replace my designer clothes that I spent a fortune on. As far as the pants go, there are some that can be saved by adding a drawstring on the inside of the waist. I pull the drawstring tight and wear a shirt or sweater over it and i am good to go. The drawstring cord comes in a 12 yd skein which is well packed with clips to keep the cord from unraveling. The cord apears to be of good quality and was easy to use. I purchased the 1/4 and 1/8 inch sizes and both sizes work great for me.
