We have a 2014 Polaris 550 Sportsman Quad. The front luggage box must be removed to access the battery to remove for winter and then again to re-install in Spring. The flimsy rubber/hard plastic original clips are poorly designed and the small pin need to slip onto the clips, which is almost impossible. The new Wsays 2 PCS Front Storage Rack Latch Kit arrived and I was delighted to find they are solid metal clips and the "cotter type pin" actually screws in through the center little latch rod. These will be so easy to install and last forever. Best purchase we made. I have no ties to this product, nor paid by them. Just a customer.

Was a little hard to get on and once I got them on they are a little too big to fit completely in the locking hole. Still locks and is just as strong if not stronger then the oem but it does keep my front rack from sitting all the way down flush with the four-wheeler. Still not a bad purchase for the money, I just wish they fit right.

These are great value, way stronger than the original, much smoother to use. Excellent product. If I was a Amazon vendor I would be carrying these aftermarket latches for Polaris sportsman 850/1000, no worries about returns or unhappy customers.

These worked awesome. Had a couple of mine wear out and order these . They worked perfect. Had to do a little bit of trimming to make them work for me . Highly recommend if you have broken or worn out ones .
