The Retractable System
The retractable system is perfect for hobbyists and professionals who are looking for a better storage solution. Pull the hose out to the desired length and the positive latching mechanism will automatically lock the hose. When you are done, simply give the hose a short pull and it will gently retract.
Easy to Install
Choose a mounting location that is free of electrical wiring or other obstructions, and is sturdy enough to support the weight of the Reel and hose as well as the force used to extend and retract it, Make a paper template from the mounting plate of the Reel. Mark the center of the bolt holes in the desired mounting location, check for hidden wiring, mount the Reel and secure in place with four bolts.

I bought one and the hose would lock when pulled out, it just kept retracting. I had Amazon send a replacement figuring I just got a bad unit. They sent an identical replacement and this on the hose would not retract. Very cheaply made. Don’t waste your time or money.

After using if intermittently for 3 months it no longer locks the hose when you pull it put. Was not over used of extended. Worked great till about 2 days ago

I bought this on October 2 and I used it twice to change over two sets of tires and the fitting that connects to the airline flew off at 150 psi and just miss my Head!

I purchased this two years ago and over time the retractability has worsened to the point that 10 feet (3 meters) will not fully retract and lays on the floor. I rarely use this air hose so its not a matter of wear and tear but rather a poor design. The highly rated comments on this review are positive as they are buyers who recently purchased the reel. After a year the problems continually increase.

I used to have a hose that needed to be wound up when I was done using it. It would get kinked and twisted. I didn't realize how much effort that took until I replaced it with the retractable hose. This hose retracts so easily and effortlessly! I have no complaints at all. I truly should've bought it long ago, and I definitely recommend it. Easy to install, easy to use, works great, doesn't get twisted or kinked, easy to put away!
