We use these wipes to prepare our engine before final assembly. They leave a clean and completely lint free surface. They're a bit pricey, but worth the money for specialized jobs.

Bought for my final wipe down doing engine work! I'll be dammed if there is some lint. Much better than a shop towel or red rag, but there is some lint!
