Your cart is empty.SeaCure is a unique, moldable mouthpiece designed to precisely fit the individual diver's mouth, teeth, gums and jaw configuration to provide maximum support of a regulator and, thus, eliminate jaw fatigue. The professional as well as the recreational diver will find SeaCure to be extremely well suited for all types of diving conditions. The newest model, the X Type, offers a totally new X shaped profile, which significantly reduces bulk, virtually eliminates gagging and improves molding by earlier engagement of the teeth during closure. The new X Type also includes an improved one-piece molding and sealing attachment with a bite limiter which eliminates the possibility of over closure during the heat molding process. Over closure reduces air flow during diving. The attachment is used in the molding process and then to keep debris out of the regulator. Mouthpiece comes with a convenient holder with chain. It took some trimming and forming this mouthpiece but it works well for me I had never done this before it seems huge when you get it initially but I guess thats so you can trim it down for your custom fit application . it works better that the factory mouthpieces that seemed too small and misshapen for my mouth. I have used it on about 10 dives so far.

I've dove this for almost two years now. It was my first custom fit attempt, so it took me two tries to get the shape right. It does fit my mouth a little better than a standard mouthpiece so there is noticeable less jaw fatigue even after a 1-2 hour dive. It is definitely larger than I expected it to be. The material is firmer than the higher-end, soft silicone ones. There are two cons that I didn't consider: I do some tech diving and found that the material gets hard as a rock in cold water. It's not usually an issue since it's kept warm in your mouth, but when you do air-sharing exercises with your buddy and it comes out of your mouth for a while it's very noticeable. This leads to the second con: we practice donating the reg out of your mouth, and two buddies have commented that it felt weird fitting their mouth on "my" mouthpiece. I'm sure the cold/hard feeling didn't help. That said, in case of an actual emergency, I feel confident that most buddies would prefer an uncomfortable mouthpiece to their own air-less one.

Easy to mold and fits great! Would definitely buy again. Have used it on five dives within a week without problems or fatigue. Bought one for myself and my husband.
