I love this seat. It's comfortable enough that it seems like fun to jump on my stationary bike. It's doubled my time on the bike so that's an amazing improvement. I didn't give it 5-stars because it wobbles a little and at speed I do feel the slide forward as other reviewers have mentioned. I needed different tools than came with the seat to install the seat, but I had the wrench I needed.

This is a decent seat for riding rail trails and around town. Definitely more comfortable than the seat my bike came with. It's actually a little too wide, though. Mounted on your bike, it looks comically oversized, and actually caused me issues with getting on and off of my bike. Seems my hips aren't flexible enough to clear the seat when I'm swinging my leg over.I think it rates a solid 4-stars.

I recently ordered an XWing Saddle for a friend who sought my advice on saddle selection due to discomfort in his private area, especially now since he’s traveling farther with his new city e-bike.After some research, I found the XWing noseless bike seat for him. It’s comfortable and, most importantly, it relieved the pressure on his private area.I also recommended this saddle to other friends, who also had similar issues of discomfort. One of the riders mentioned to me that he felt like he was sliding off the seat, and thought the base should be wider for better support after couple of rides.Upon inspecting his bike, I noticed that he installed his saddle in the wrong angle position. The seat rails were not parallel to the ground. And, I also found that he is more use to very a very forward riding position even with his beach cruiser. We adjusted the saddle to the correct angle, and suggest him to try with the upright riding position, and the problem was eliminated. He immediately felt the difference and now rides in comfort. He previously was using a popular saddle called “Cloud 9.” Which is also a favorite saddle of mine.I made a side-by-side comparison of the Cloud 9 and the XWing noseless Saddle to show him the difference. The XWing noseless bike seat is wider and shorter in length due to its NOSELESS design. Apart from the nose and wing area, the top view shape of both seats are very similar. The angle and shape for both saddle provide suitable room and gives you a clear angle for your legs to pedal comfortablyFrom the side view, the sit bone area of the Cloud 9 seat is around 1 inch higher than the nose area, while the XWing noseless seat is flatter and is around 3/8 inch higher than the nose area. For the softness, the X Wing is noticeably a little bit softer for me. So, based on the foam density and shape, the Cloud 9 seat may actually cause the cyclist to feel that sliding sensation compared to the X Wing saddle. The feeling of sliding off the seats usually occurs when rider is being in a very forward riding position, it also puts pressure on your wrists trying to hold up the cyclist. With a noseless design, you don’t feel the support from the seat nose, and may feel like you will slide off because that is noseless design, and you are not use to it.For the regular seat, you will be getting support from the seat nose, and this is a happens to causes the discomfort, as the seat nose is what rubs against your private areaMost saddles have a nose and it is the number one reason people feel that discomfort and often times develop a rash because the nose is causing the discomfort.Three noticeable design characteristics create a pleasurable riding experience: (1) a higher sit bone area, (2) a deep center canal to reduce pressure from the private area, and (3) the NOSELESS design that relieves all pressure from the private area because there’s nothing to rub your privates on.But, NOT all Noseless Saddles designs are the same. Even for noseless saddle, If the short nose area higher than the sit bone area, the nose area still rubs against your private area and cause discomfort. unless you are in backward sitting position, like rowing position.Lastly, we compared the base width of each saddle. Both the Cloud 9 and the XWing noseless seat have a base width of around 10 inches. The average human sit bone width is around 4 to 5.5 inches for men and 4.3 to 6 inches for women. A ten-inch base with thick foam provides more than adequate support. The XWING shape design has an extra inch foam on each side of the base that follows your body curvature with flexibility for added support and comfort.Noseless design saddles are more suitable for upright riding position for city commuter bikes, beach cruisers, upright e-bikes, and stationary bikes. If you’re looking for a comfortable bike saddle that reduces pressure on the private area, it should be a good option to try. When you feel comfortable, you are more likely to take longer rides.

Finally comfortable bike seat. The stock seat on my E-Bike was not great for even short rides. I bought an "oversize extra comfortable" seat , not really much better. This seat though is a game changer. No discomfort at all even after the longest ride I have taken so far. I am not at all overweight but riding hurt , so this is not just for chonkey people but anyone that gets pain from normal seats. I just wish I had not wasted money on a claimed good seat when there actually is a good seat. . . this one.

I really liked the comfort of the Mega Plus seat , unfortunately I had to return since nose is also very large and ribbed on my thighs while cycling. I wish they made a noseless version of the Mega Plus. I did ordered regular noseless version and have kept that. Not as comfortable but good for riding. I will buy the nose less version of the Mega Plus if they ever come out with one.

I bought X Wing new age noseless bike seat a few of weeks ago and it has turned out to be an excellent choice. I was initially frustrated with the original seat on my bike as it felt too small and rigid. After switching to this seat, I’m really impressed with the comfort and support it provides. The wide, wing-shaped design and flexible foam offer great cushioning. Side support and the seat moves with you adding to the overall comfort. While I did experience some slippage at first but adjusting myself to a more upfront riding position and ensuring the seat was securely locked in place resolved the issue and now I’m very satisfied with the results.

I love this saddle and and so happy I bought it. It's very comfortable and my ride to work (on London's potholed roads) no longer leaves my body feeling like it's been shaken around. I can cycle in skirts without having a strange bump at the front. It's rainbow reflective band is really cute. It took a while to get used to because it feels so different from a usual saddle, but I got the feel of it after a few short local test rides. The only thing with it is that I can't work out how to tilt it so that the back is higher. I can live with that (because of the benefits) but I'd rather it did tilt a little bit. Is definitely recommend it to anyone. (Woman in late 50s)

I got a new Lectric XP Trike (awesome electric trike!). The seat wasn't comfortable. (New bikes seldom come with a seat you really want to use.) I put my Cloud 9 seat from a Rad e-bike I had on it and that was better, but still not perfect. Trikes are very different from bikes, and when you ride on a slant like a street with a crown (meaning higher in the middle and sloping down on each side - done for drainage), sloped sidewalk, driveway, or bike path, you feel like it's going to turn over, even when the slant is slight. You have to 'lean into the hill', which is tiring and tends to crimp the mirth a bit. Someone recommended this seat, so I ordered it. Problem solved! this seat is terrific! It's super comfortable - both in how it fits your seat and in how padded and springy it is on bumpy trails.Buyers need to know this - it is NOT rigid on the 'wings'. That's a good thing, though, because it lets you drop your hip some on one side and then another when needed as you ride, eliminating that need to lean into the hill. You don't even have to think about those slopes any more - almost like this seat lets you be your own human gyroscope while riding. I haven't tried it on a two-wheel bike, but I think I'd like it for that, too.It is wide, so it looks like it's for a person with a big 'rear bumper', but I am a very normal size person, and it fits great. I am 100% happy with this bike seat.
