The Zseries blades have a much tougher tip and stay sharp longer compared to the regular #11 blades. For me they are worth the extra money.

These are the sharpest X-Acto blade I have ever used. There really is a difference. The regular ones always break within the first hour on my cutting mat. These blades don't have tips that break off in the cutting mat, and they stay sharp. I always get clean edges when cutting with these.

I prefer these Nitride blades to the regularly Xacto #11's. They're pretty durable, stupid-sharp, and they tend to last me a good while. I've yet to find a blade with a bent or broken tip, nor will they bend or break even with the toughest of jobs. I've put my blades through some torture, and they'll still be able to last me a little while longer.

These blades are extremely sharp! I use them for cutting the outlines of T-Shirt transfers I make and they work perfectly except for a tad that the tips do bend and break very easily when cutting around corners on a semi-soft cutting mat. Overall a great purchase for the value and is sharper than the regular Xacto blades.

Was hoping these would live up to the advertising but they do not. I've purchased a few to test in production where they use the knives and blades to trim plastic cases all day long. Most of the trimmings are are small and requires little effort while a few require heavier and more pressure.Regardless some of these blades broke after about 20mins into their use. Add to that I've tested a few to see whether the claim of being 10x sharper proved true and it isn't. In fact the regular #11 and #2 blades (I bought these too to test) did a much cleaner job of trimming because they were sharper. Granted this may be because we're cutting plastic but still. I have a few operators doing longer term testing with the blades and all the different size handles. Will update when I have more data but as of now these blades don't live up to their claim.

I've got to say one thing about these blades...BE CAREFUL!! I find them quite durable ( have read reviews stating they broke easy). I don't agree unless you're going out and trying to chop down a tree. They are designed for precise, delicate cuts and that is exactly what they do.

It cuts way better than the regular exacto blades. I'm making a large cardboard house for my kids this Christmas and this is great!

These blades are very sharp and hold an edge longer than the original ones. X-Acto lovers are going to be happy with these new z-series #11 blades as am I. However, Amazon requires I rate this product as a toy and this I cannot do as it is not, or should it ever be used as, a toy.
