I'm definitely not impressed with the product. The pizza dough still stuck to the board, and when you pushed the handle to push the dough off of the board into the pizza cooker, all of the ingredients smooshed together and ended up falling onto the pizza grill in a blob. I assume if you used a pre-made pizza that was a solid hard pizza bread, it would work fine. But not for homemade pizzas.

We had a really good experience with this product. It picked up the pizza from the counter top (have the handle pushed all the way forward) .... and it launched the pizza into our Ooni perfectly. My wife exclaimed "this is amazing". I think the trick is to just keep the handle parallel with the board. This is good for medium pizzas or flat breads.

First, you need to do you pizza on the top. Second, dosent fall out as they said, making a real mess. Third, this is for a personal pizza not even a 12" pizza.

We make a lot of homemade pizza in our house! But the hardest part is always trying to get the pizza into the oven. This pizza peel is perfect and prevents us accidentally burning ourselves! It's very easy to use, and the only setup required was to screw the handle on (it comes with the screws and a screwdriver). We can make the pizza on the counter, use this to pick it up easily, and put it on the pizza stone in the oven with no issues! It's very easy to clean, just wipe down with a wet paper towel or cloth. You could use soap but make sure to rinse and dry it fully. My only negative is that the wood is unfinished. I may varnish it myself just to protect it and so it lasts longer, but it doesn't seem that necessary honestly. Overall, great purchase if you like making pizza at home!

I was a huge skeptic of this product! But was very happy! We have a Ooni oven and struggled to launch our pizza! It was super easy to use! It didn’t burn, or stick! I did use a small amount of cornmeal to ensure it didn’t! I hope it holds!
