I like this Felt Electrical tape, i used it on some Wire Harness repairs that are in an area of the car that tends to heat up a lot. I previously used Vinal Electrical tape and it was all damaged from heat soak.

This soft fabric tape is an excellent substitute for electrical tape for use cases where the goal is to bind groups of wires together to keep them from rattling or otherwise making noise in a moving vehicle. Since discovering this style of tape, it is all I use when the goal is to silence vibrations. It's worth noting that this tape is only rated to last 6 years which would leave me reluctant to use it in an engine compartment. I also wouldn't use it to insulate exposed electrical connections. This use case calls for traditional electrical tape. This product is adhesive-backed fabric. Despite the description, it does not appear to have any insulating value.I haven't used this tape long enough to comment on its long term reliability but my initial impressions are positive. For use cases where the goal is to keep vibrating surfaces from vibrating or rubbing together, this tape is a good solution. Five stars.

I call this tape the duct tape of wiring because it is that versatile and useful for a number of applications. It is very easy to apply, and easy enough to remove or adjust when needed. It is of very good quality, and is a good value for the price.

I have been working with automotive electrical systems for many years and believe me when I say you need this. Far superior to electrical tape and doesn't leave a nasty residue years down the road. This tape is strong with nice abrasion resistance. Gives your wire loom a nice look that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. I am currently using it to rewrap the main harness in a '76 MGB. Recommended. More like a necessity.

Since having an old truck that is being restored, there are times I have to re do wiring. That meant cutting off old tape and a lot of cleaning up. I have been using tesa tape to make my wiring look new and like factory. I got the wider roll as my goal is that I can cover twice as much as I could of a regular tesa tape. This definitely allows me to get more coverage and at the same time not use up a lot of the tape. This will eventually run out but it works well. One will not be able to tell if this is a wide roll or a regular roll. As this is being hidden, it will not matter one bit. It doesn't rip easy, so it is somewhat durable. The use of this tape is very easy. The adhesive does hold the tape well and does not fall apart. Great item and nice to have in your tool box.
