I found that my 2016 Kawasaki KLR650 didnt have any tail tidies on the market. I found this one and it fit perfectly on my rig. I cut some new holes for the mount and its nice and tight fitting. The quality of the aluminum is top notch. Also the license plate mount was perfect and easy to run. The licence plate light was straightforward to install and works great. Its nice and bright and clean.

Instructions are not supplied - you have to look at the product photos to get a basic idea. But no info on removal of OEM pieces, etc. The supplied rubber ring does not sit securely in the hole for the wires. It will just fall out with almost no pressure. It DOES fit in the smaller hole in the front. But that hole appears to have no function other than allowing water to get inside the seat area from underneath. This is not sealed from the elements at all - lots of gaps and holes for water ingress. The supplied license plate light does not connect to the existing OEM connector, requiring a wiring headache that other tidy designs completely avoid. And the mount design does not allow you to use the OEM plate light even if you wanted to. The one good thing is that it allows for either OEM or bullet style light. But I'd you want to keep the OEM lights, you'll need a file and/or angle grinder to remove the bullet style blanks from the mount. Overall it is functional, but really lacking in overall design. I'm going to scrap this and switch to Evotech at 5x the cost.

The Kawasaki fender and blinkers are a bit tricky to dismantle. But the new bracket is well thought out.
