I can’t believe I picked this up for this price. Excellent bow. I don’t know what that person was talking about. The trigger pole is excellent. It is almost a hair trigger. If you ask me not much thought to it. You just start squeezing it and it goes off. The bow is deadly accurate out of the box fast if you can get this still For the 239 price I believe an Amazon you are crazy not to this list for $700 on other sites

Very pleased with my Xpedition crossbow, but be aware it uses a proprietary clip-on nock that is not available anywhere. So you can only use Xpedition bolts... they come with the clip-on nocks. Xpedition doesn't offer lighted (clip-on) nocks. If Xpedition goes out of biz, we're screwed!

Holly crap it's a hard hitter and stow with in a row accuracy so be careful or you will be replacing a lot of arrow bolts !

I have owned this crossbow for some time now and have found it to be very accurate. Mine is the 430 and I shoot hunting weight bolts weighing 420 grains. The 430 stands for 430 Feet Per Second (FPS) and the manufacturer states 430 with a 380g bolt. I have calculated that my 420g bolts slow the speed to around 404 FPS. And yes, I believe this crossbow is truly shooting my heavy hunting bolts over 400. The speed is amazing...... but what is more important, this bow's accuracy is superb. I even use the supplied scope, which is a cheapo, but it holds accuracy, is fairly clear and lights up red or blue if desired. Also, it is noted by the maker that the 430 is a 200 pound bow. That seems reasonable as the rope cocking takes a significant amount of muscle to pull it into the trigger lock. I am 60yo yet am active, big and strong for my age. I have no issues but I have a few friends that won't even attempt to cock it.The only two real gripes I have are....... It is brutally heavy. My hunting set up, less a custom mounted monopod, is just a hair over 10 pounds. Unlike a gun with the massive of its weight mid-center and to the rear..... this bow's weight is throughout and then mostly out front. It is impossible for me to hold it free in the air and get good aim. I MUST place it on a rest, brace my elbows on my knees or.... in my case, I have adapted a monopod to help. Even with the monopod, it sways back and forth. It is really heavy. Secondly....... the trigger pull is very easy and that's a good thing.... the bad is..... the trigger feels like you are pulling it for a mile. You can conscientiously feel the length of the pull. I would say the trigger pull is 3/8" +-. I hate the long trigger pull.Besides that...... I love this bow. I have become accurate and it has never let me down.
