I’ve been looking for just this size plate that is also perfect for in-between portions. Classic white - decent angle of the wall size for soups, salads, etc. - nice sized sloped rim. Perfect medium weight.

I've been searching for these dishes as I had gotten some years ago from Williams Sonoma and needed to replace. They are just as nice, fantastic price and size for things like pasta and salads. Very happy they are also oven proof to heat them a bit prior to serving.

I was pleasantly surprised what nice quality these porcelain bowls were. Purest of white and nice and deep. Matches well with any white dish set. Wash up beautiful in dishwasher. Purchase with confidence. You won't be disappointed.

These were just what I wanted. Small size was hard to find. They hold 8 oz while most others were 20 oz or more. I use for beating single egg or just the right amount of soup for single serving. Perhaps small for pasta but perfect for salad.

Acquistati per l'utilizzo giornaliero. Ottimi, resistenti e semplici. Unico neo (nel mio caso) forse un po' troppo grandi

We recently replaced our mismatched dinnerware with open stock bright whites from CB. Their Aspen line was the closest thing we could find to what we were looking for- sturdy restaurant style, bright white rather than creamy or grey, economical, versatile enough for everyday use or entertaining, and sized to fit comfortably in cabinets that are less than 11" deep. The biggest drawback was the line doesn't include large rimmed soup/pasta bowls. These 9.5" bowls are a pretty good solution. The color match is fairly close, although we do notice some slight variation from brighter to slightly creamier white both within and between the two sets of four we purchased. Pictured here are a dinner plate and cereal bowl from our bright white CB set with this soup/pasta bowl in between them; you might be able to detect that the soup/pasta bowl is ever so slightly creamier in color. The 9.5" bowl works well with a 10.5" dinner plate, and the color variation is minor enough to be barely noticeable, especially in dinner party lighting and when the focus is on the food and the company, not the dinnerware. Is this the style that the amazon video/description touts "stackability" as a positive design feature? If so, that's a tiny bit funny, because you can see in the second photo there is enough minor shape variation to prevents the bowls from stacking in a uniformly snug way. Again, though, we don't expect that slight irregularity to affect their function or our enjoyment in using them. At $30 for a set of four, the price is comparable to what you might pay for smaller capacity bowls, and less than the price tag for similarly sized bowls, at retailers like PB and WS. They aren't perfect, but we're very happy with the purchase. Biggest pros- great size/capacity for hearty stews and pasta dishes, and the color is definitely more white-white than creamy or grey so play well with other bright whites. Cons? If you're looking for perfection and absolute uniformity in shape and color, these may not be right for you.

I bought 2 sets of 4 for an upcoming dinner party. For me they are a perfect size and shape for what I was looking for. However, 5 of the 8 came with pin hole defects in the glaze that will trap food or other material and not be cleanable. 2 of the 5 also had scratches on the bowl portion and also will not be cleanable. there are visible drips (thicker sections) of glaze around the rim on some bowls. I am awaiting feedback from the seller as to how they will resolve the concerns.

Quality is high (definitely NOT stoneware) and appearance is a plus. Weight is easy to handle full or empty. All in all, a great buy from both aesthetic and functionality viewpointsSIZE is EXCELLENT for me. . . I was slightly concerned about the bowl depth & volume, but now feel that it is 'just right'. The depth of the bowls (about 1") allows them to be placed efficiently in a dishwasher rack. They hold 1/2 can of ready to eat soup such as Progresso. For salad, the volume is somewhere between 'generous side salad' and smallish 'entree'.
