After 15 years I lost my 10g PA ring while I was digging a rain water runoff control swale...the captive bead was getting looser and looser no matter how much I squeezed the ring back into it so I wasn't surprised. I was really happy at how fast these 10g replacements arrived and they look/feel great. Just for yucks I also ordered one 8g and I guess I've stretched the piercing enough that it slid right in and it feels great...It was challenging to snap the ball into place so hopefully I won't lose this one....liked it so much that I ordered 2 more for backup. One customer reported that it was discolored after soaking in bleach so I'll keep watch to see how the surface behaves.

After a few choice words I finally got the bead to stay inside the ring. Overall it fits great and very comfortable.

I got my last 00g PA 20 years ago, a different brand, it costs 45 dollars back then. I have wanted a captive bead type and have had bad luck finding a quality one. This one is perfect, its heavy 316L real deal stainless. It has precision tooling and works perfectly. The ball fits perfect, which is where the tooling errors sometimes cause failure. I still have my 20 year old 00g horseshoe and its still usable even after 20 years of daily use. I expect this one will last 20 years too, it really is that good. I might buy another as a back up in case I ever lose this one. It's unreal that I found one so inexpensive after so long trying.
