The most important thing to know is that these are not quite 12x12". They're about 11.75x11.75. That makes a big difference if you're trying to precisely fit your patio. Actually I'm not sure why they would do that because most patio or pool spaces are going to be a round number of feet, so basically any installation you do is going to have gaps. You also can't really cut them to size easily or they fall apart. The pros are that it actually is real wood, and installation is very easy.

First box we ordered was great. Everything was the right size and they were interlocking. So we ordered a second box to complete our project. The second box came with smaller wood tiles and they were factory defect so they don’t interlock at all. Tried to get them to send replacement but they only offered to refund the second box if we send back. I’ve tried emailing asking if we can get two boxes of the same tile and send back the two purchased boxes but no response. So terrible quality and terrible customer service. It’s a gamble with these. I assembled a makeshift "patio" off to the side of my deck for grilling, so the grill doesn't take up real estate on the deck. They easily snap together, and even on grass which is not leveled out they provide a mostly even and stable surface for the grill to set on and the griller to stand on. Looks great, put them out last summer and they survived the winter in VT with just some weathering but still connected together and looking great!

I loved these wood tiles! I got them to cover the floor of our apartment’s balcony. They look so nice and make a huge difference! They are very easy to assemble and came in great condition. The only con is that they were kind of hard to cut into pieces. We didn’t have a box cutter so we used a knife and scissors and it was a struggle. Maybe get a box cutter if you are going to need to cut some to cover your area.

We wanted a poolside deck with our limited budget. These are it!! They are beautiful, sturdy well designed. Perfect for a d-I-yer. Took less than 2 hours working slowly and methodically for a 8'x6' patio/deck. No tools needed just slap them together. The interlocking design makes it easy. Result is beautiful and the cedar smell is wonderful. You will love them. Also, they are a great price. I've priced other similar products. These were most affordable. Arrived quickly

I bought these (6 cases) to cover my ~8ft x 8ft backyard patio, which was just 4x 4ft x 4ft cement slabs.-Appearance: They are a light reddish brown in color. The grooves give the tiled surface some character and depth. Overall, they look good and are accurately represented by the product photos.-Quality, Durability and Consistency: The tiles are very lightweight, this is not a dense or hard wood. I feel they can and will mark easily, and probably is not suitable for high traffic areas or for use under heavier patio furniture. This is also due to the somewhat flimsy feeling plastic backing, and the staples used to attach the backing to the tiles were used sparingly (two rows per tile IIRC). The slat size from tile to tile was fairly consistent, with only 3 tiles out of the 66 I received being very visibly narrower than the others. This sometimes caused the joints (buckles) between tiles to be somewhat squeezed but ultimately didn’t impact my ability to easily assemble the flooring.-Ease of Assembly: Total time to finish laying out my patio was 45 minutes. This included unpacking each box, and some readjustment of the tiled area. I found it easier to first create a row of 8 tiles, and then attach the entire row to the adjacent row as one piece versus building the entire area piece by piece. This is because it is easier to buckle one side at a time.-Shipping: Very fast and way quicker than the estimate that Amazon provided. I ordered these on 6/20, they shipped out on 6/21 and I got them on 6/22.-Packaging: The tiles came well packaged. If ordering more than 2, they will band and then tape two boxes together. Since I got 6, there was a bundle of two and then another bundle of 4, which tape and bands securing them together. The boxes arrived with no punctures or exterior damage. Inside the tiles were placed back on back, with thin film foam separating them into pairs, 11 tiles per box and one bag of dessicant.-Value: Compared to other options available, I think these are a pretty good value. Especially since you get an “extra” 1 sq/ft per box, which can help with odd-shaped areas or be spares in case you do end up with a defective or damaged tile, which I did not.

I’m very happy with my purchase. It was easy to snap together and makes a huge change in appearance on my terrace. Because this is a natural product out of the eight boxes of tiles I purchased about six of them had noticeable warping. Haven’t really had a chance yet to judge it’s durability. And I have to make it though a New York city winter first.
