My daughter lost this part of her saxophone. I replaced it for her one year. I guess she needs a few more parts before it's playable. I'm looking forward to hearing her play one day.

Ho ricevuto da poco un sassofono e devo dire che con questo bocchino il suono è molto meglio rispetto ad uno classico che ti danno al inizio , il suono risulta piu pulito e meno faticoso soprattuto per chi è al inizio .Consiglio !!

My wife bought me one of the $300 Alto Sax and I've been learning for about 3 months now. As I'm already an established musician on other instruments, these sort of things come rather easy for me. I was having a constant problem with the quality of my sound , and after trying numerous kinds of reeds, I decided maybe it was the mouthpiece. Low and behold that indeed was the problem. Anybody that buys a new sax should go ahead and change the mouthpiece to one of these. Now it's so much easier to play and I can concentrate on my mechanics.

Very nice upgrade. Was using a Yamaha 4c which is decent but this is even better. Better sound quality and playability. No need to pay 5x to 10x more.

This mouthpiece produces a darker tone. The notes come out very clearly. I highly recommend using a leather ligature or a hard rubber ligature with this mouthpiece. I have been playing for around 4 years now with the same mouthpiece and as soon as I tried this mouthpiece I will never go back to my old one. This is very good. It would be very good for someone who has a couple months and maybe a year of practice but brand new players can use it too.

Excellent piece and the price cannot be compared. Smooth and great mouse piece for my instrument. Delivery was on time and without any problems.

Love it! plays like a Selmer C* at about 1/3 the cost after playing it for a while, am using Yamaha 5*'s on both tenor, and alto, I finally got the sound I have been looking for since the early 70's, they are easy blowing, and responsive through the full range of the horn. am using both with Legere synthetic reeds.

My son's sax came with an unmarked mouthpiece but one would assume it was a yamaha since the sax was a yamaha. In any case, the old mouthpiece started having grooves where his teeth touched the mouthpiece. which he said was bothering him. So we started looking around and saw this purchase can be crazy expensive if you want it to be. In the end, we decided there was no need for a hundred to buck-fifty mouthpiece. So it was the 4c and the 5c. Both should work great for high school band. He preferred the sound of the 5c over the 4c. Although he agreed with the general discussion about the 5c being ever so slightly harder to play, but with better dynamics. Not that this is decorative, but he said it was good looking compared to his old one.
