It does not have a strong magnet in it and it’s very small magnet, where the needles do fall out when you’re moving your hand around when you’re sewing.

Only the center is magnetic so pins twirl around and it’s a little annoying BUT they didn’t fall out so that’s something

there are lots of magnetic wrist pin holders, and they all have one problem……….the magnet is too weak to hold the pins. i put in pins and turned my wrist upside down……..pins fell out.

Handy to have using straight pins, but also to putting them back. now I don't have the pins rolling off the table to the floor, and potentially stepping on them, from me flinging them everywhere when I remove from the fabric.

Wristband: It's like those rulers banks used to hand out but covered with silicone. It will coil around the wrist with tension, or if you straighten it out it will flex and stay straight. Although my wrists are on the small side (5.75" circumference) I found the band had dug into my flesh and left some pretty deep indentations when I took it off after an hour. Additionally, my wrist got rather sweaty under the tight silicone.Magnet: It appears to have one mediocre magnet in the very center of the well, with no magnetism around the bowl or rim. It felt like the pins would fall out easily; however, they didn't, even while pinning long strips of quilt top together and gently shaking my wrist.Summary: I'm not going to return it, but I don't think I'd buy it again either.
