When the window switch is depressed or raised, which creates an actuation telling the window motor whether to move forward or backward. As the motor gear moves forward and backward, the regulator gear or cable spool wheel is also moved. The size of the this motor is small compared to OEM motor but does the job… and lets see if it stands the test of time

It was a brand new item not a reman one. It does not have automatic up and down,so where you take your finger off it stops which i like a lot. It works great.
