I used these on my Moen kitchen range exhaust hood lights that I couldn't find bulbs that worked in. American standard E26 bulbs can thread into this all the way in. And this adapter can thread all the way into the European standard E27 exhaust hood light sockets. Problem finally solved after 5 years!

Bought this due to a lightbulb camera with a large base that didn't fit into our socket. This extension was the answer to extend the socket enough so that the camera would screw in properly. This was the perfect solution to making it work! Great price too!
