This is one of four different styles of these type of Tilting Bookcases that I’ve recently purchased, and this is one of my top picks. The quality of this Bookcase is really nice, the wood is solid. I found this easy to put together, and it looks beautiful once complete. I’ve been finishing up creating a Library area in my Loft, and this is such a nice option and look. It holds the books in tight, and saves having to purchase extra Bookends.

Really easy to put together, and I appreciate that they give you extra screws and pads so if you have any issues, or lose one, you've got spares. It also comes with the little tool you need, so no need to go digging for a screw driver at your house! I do wish it was maybe a little bit deeper so you could hold things better, but for just a simple shelf, it works great. I used mine to hold my paint by numbers that are in the queue to get done. And it's not super expensive, so you still get something that looks nice without breaking the bank.

Sometimes you have to go to plan B. That’s where I am with this little bookshelf. The bookshelf was simple to put together, although an extra pair of hands helped to hold it while putting in the screws. The design is attractive, with the side bars adding to the look. My problem was where I had planned to use it. I have floor-to-ceiling bookshelves in my sewing room where I wanted to corral my various reference books without using bookends. The tilted bookshelf did fit on a large shelf that has enough height but, as I discovered, not enough depth for tilted books. What I didn’t think about is that any larger books, when placed on tilt, would bump the wall in back and bend their upper right corners. It didn’t work and it didn’t look right…my mistake for not doing some measuring and analyzing. I guess the lesson is to plan on using this bookshelf in an open or fitting space. That’s what I’ll be looking for now. I still like the bookshelf, but…time for plan B.
