Had issues with the product but contacted the company and they were very quick to respond and provide a replacement. My son put it together and he loves it. Will find out soon if the chinchillas love it too!

She’s not exactly picky when it comes to destroying wooden huts, but she certainly has very clear preferences. The expression of her approval is a function of enthusiasm displayed while destroying them and time taken to completely destroy them, representing an inverse correlation where, as enthusiasm increases, time taken to destroy decreases. She destroyed this one very quickly and enthusiastically, perhaps more quickly and enthusiastically than any other hut she’s had before. I can think of no higher form of praise a chinchilla can give.

This product was great just ask my little Luna, she loved it so much. The only reason I gave four stars is because one of the holes didn’t line up correctly so I split the wood a bit trying to tighten the screw. This is a bit hard to clean but manageable depending on where you place it in the cage. I did have to remove the house portion sadly because miss Luna decided to become to territorial over the house and would bite when anyone was near it. That is no fault to the company and I am keeping it just to try again with it in her cage later. She is just a baby after all (4 months) and she is learning her boundaries so we will try again with this when she is older. She still has the stairs in the cage and loves to perch on them.

My chinchilla loves to be cozy in a little hut.. but he also loves to chew of course. I’ve tried several different huts only for it to be completely destroyed by him in a matter of a couple weeks. This is the first one that he doesn’t seem inclined to chew to bits, and even if he did, I think it is durable enough to last much longer than a hay or cardboard hut. I’ve had this one for several months now and he has barely nibbled it. He loves it and will sleep in it all day, or just use it to hide when he doesn’t want to be bothered. The screws + washers that come with it and attach it to the cage are perfect, they keep the hut very sturdy - it doesn’t move at all. Although if you place it in the back corner of your cage like I did, you may need someone to help hold the hut from the inside while you screw the washers on. Overall this is a great, durable product.

Only needed a screwdriver to build. This was fun to make and the chinchilla loves it. He does chew on it and to won’t last forever but he likes it and that’s what matters.

We purchased this house for our chinchilla and the quality is good. However, the 3 ONLY washers provided are too small in diameter and there should be 6 of them. I had to go to a hardware store to buy the correct size washers so we could affix the house to the cage walls properly. The YKD may think this is a minor fail but in my eyes, they are just being cheap. That's why they only got 2 stars.

Didn't know what to expect but as you can see my chinchilla loves this thing. There was a lip in the main arched entrance that I cut out to make it flat so my chinchilla could lay her head out the entrance. She loves sticking her head out of the opening to see what's going on. The hole is small enough for her to stick her head out but not jump out of. The only con to this is that there are 2 bolts on the back side to secure this to the cage but the the other corner o ly has o e bolt to secure it to the cage. I drilled a he and added another bolt, not a big deal but just odd. Looking to buy another for the other side of the cage
