These socks give a gentle hug to your legs. They stay up and don't bunch up your toes. Very comfortable to wear. Machine wash. Not to heavy but warm and durable.

I am not diabetic, but I wanted more comfortable knee socks. Regular knee socks weren't tall enough to reach my knee and left a tight elastic mark. I'm 5'4" and weigh 150, and these knee socks go all the way to right below the knee, and are very comfortable. I especially like the soft ruffle non-binding elastic "ruffle" at the top. The bottoms of the socks are lightly padded which is a bonus. The material is not super-soft, but still comfy. I rated these 4 stars because if you like to wear knee socks with a skirt, the knitting pattern looks strange: stripes on the foot and up past the ankle, then the pattern changes to more of a grid on the leg. But if you just wear knee socks under long pants for warmth, these are the socks for you!

LOVE these knee socks! Knee socks and short as well, always seem to pose an issue with being too tight, too short (for knee-highs), don't stay up, etc. These are amazing. The foot part of the knee sock is thicker and nicely cushioned -- perfect for diabetics and /or neuropathy issues. From lower ankle up, the length is very adequate, and the construction of the leg portion is a looser "knit" so there is no uncomfortable tightness at all. They are warm and wash/dry well. Highly recommend. Good value -- comfortable socks and warm feet are priceless!
