the youngs prop worked great for my 50 hp mercury outboard motor. lined up like it was supposed to and installed easily. I found it to be an affordable replacement part which I will purchase again as i need to. this gives my boat an even smoother ride than my old prop.

I go fishing in a variety of altitudes, and I've found that the size of the propeller makes a huge difference in how much the motor has to work to gain speed. This one works like a charm at high elevations where the atmosphere is thinner. The motor doesn't stall and I'm able to get on plane without issue.

My lower unit went out on my 17' Triton aluminum bass boat with a 50 HP 4 stroke Mercury. My mechanic recommended that I switch to the bigfoot lower unit as it is stronger. He gave me an 11 pitch propeller to get me going. The boat would overrev, and my top speed was only about 25 MPH. Switched to this 15 pitch prop and I now go about 35 MPH with 5500 rpms. I am happy with the performance of my boat again.

Propeller has a bad vibration under speed probably from being out of balance or in proper hub for the prop would just spend a little more and get a name brand
