Very strong adhesive! Don't be worried about the fact that it sticks on! We just replaced a very similar style that we screwed in the wall, with plugs, and it lasted a a few weeks before it started getting loose and coming out. This one is so strong, and went right over my screw holes! It's not budging so get it right the first time. Looks great, and holds a massive Costco sized roll of toilet paper. Has stopper at the end so it won't roll off. Don't hesitate on this one!
