Well packaged. Seems like a nice kit with good components. Timken USA bearings. The seals seem to be Yukon branded. Time will tell how it holds up.

SO, I have an '85 M1008... this kit was perfect. I have high-steer arms from ORD and I installed bronze bushings with the spring eliminator kit so there were quite a few parts that I didn't need (springs, top cap, top cap bolts, and one of the gaskets). Perfect though and front end feels awesome. The before/after shots are of two different sides but you can see how I cleaned up everything and painted all the parts.

When my kit arrived, I was very shocked to find out that one of the cap bolts looked like someone had taken a grinder to the threads for some weird reason. I though, no big deal I’ll just use an old one. The one thing that really pissed me off, was When I went to torque down the new upper kingpin it ended up breaking off a good chunk of the pin. I expected much better from Yukon.

Ordered two of these kits at different times. Both came with the wrong instructions. Each time I got instructions on replacing the ring and pinion gears instead of instructions on rebuilding the King Pin that the kit is for.

I ordered 2 of these kits to do one axle. One kit had been opened before and the king pin was cut out of the shrink wraping allowing it to rust. The other one was missing a king pin seal. Had to have it rushed in by the local parts store to finish the job. Make sure you check the boxes to make sure all the parts are there before you start your rebuild. Otherwise the quality is good, timken bearings etc. Would like to give it 2 stars because I expect more for this few parts at this price point, but gave it 3 because the quality is there. If all parts where there in an un opened package with un rusted pieces it would be an easy 5 star rating.

This kit worked for my 93 Dodge W350 with Dana 60 front axle, I have crossover steering so I didn't use 4 of the bolts for the upper kingpin caps, I just used the old studs and nuts that I had on there before. They also don't supply lower kingpin gaskets, however I just used RTV and worked fine. Other than that, kit works perfect, front end is back together and has no binding or anything. I always trust in Yukon!! And cannot beat the price!!! Great deal

Quality kits at a really reasonable price. Nothing about this kit disappoints... Good bolts, good pins, Timken bearings, and good springs. The only drawback at all was the packaging did rip one of the gaskets for the top cup while opening. Fortunately I did not need both. I truly am thankful for companies that still exist like Yukon Gear and Axle.
