So far it works great. Much easier than trying to balance drums and play 'em too. I'm 6' (ish) and this stand is very sturdy and will adjust taller than I would ever need for it to be. The box was pretty beat up but the merchandise was perfect. Always tighten up without overtightening.

I received the product with a piece missing. I reached out to the seller, showed them a picture of what was missing and they quickly sent out the missing piece. Everything works great.Just two minor issues: 1. They need to update the pictures as the support bar underneath the bongos is different than what is pictured, but it works fine. 2. There were other user complaints about the “main screw” that secures the bongos, when you tighten it - the screw goes through the foam and damages the bongos… I see exactly what they are saying - and yes, this is likely to happen. I attached a piece of dense foam on top of the circular foam prior to installing to avoid this from happening and that worked fine.Every other stand out there that I’ve found is twice the price (for a similar size) and other than the two issues mentioned above, this is a great quality stand. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Two years and this stand is solid - adjustable legs so you can spread them for maximum stability or bring them in when space is limited - and surprisingly portable. It folds compactly and I can walk away from a performance comfortably with stand in one hand and bongo/gear bag in the other. Screws and bolts have held well. One item: the padded disc that is on the end of the bolt snugging the drums' middle bridge into the stand's bracket is no longer attached to the bolt. I have to take care of it when pulling bongos off the stand or putting them back. Not a huge deal to me.

This item was shipping promptly and arrived in good condition. I said good condition, which means it was unbroken and serviceable. The manufacturers inner box was just about as thin as it could be and would not make a sufficient shipping box. That box was put inside another with some of that crumpled heavy paper as side padding. Some of the worst packaging I have ever seen for any item let alone something as heavy as this. Now as to the item. It is very well made and hold my L.P. bongos nicely. This is, and has to be, easy to assemble. there are no instructions. The most puzzling part is how to mount the crossbar support. This is a wonderful addition and provides needed support. The key is to take off the shortest sleeve on the metal bar and slip it into place. The item pictures do help, but not must. The bar must be held upright on its edge, not flat as you would think. Then replace the sleeve, center the bar and tighten it down.I spent an afternoon playing and had no issues with it.

I have found that this bongo stand is surprisingly tall. It is very sturdy and has a lot of tightening screws which open up options for angles of adjustment. However, the height of the bongo on the stand in its shortest setting is 36 inches off the floor, and this is too tall for that between the knees height commonly used. If the stand could be adjusted to be played at my knee height, I would have liked it better.

I bought this not expecting too much, because of the cheap price, but boy was I wrong...never judge a book by it's cover. Setup was easy and my bongos stay exactly where they are supposed to stay. I'm using these in conjunction with a pair of congas that I've had for about a year now. It's amazing to me that a lot of the acoustic acts around town will ask me to play percussion with congas and bongos and leave drummers with their massive kits out right now. Personally, I'm having a ball. My only problem in playing hand percussion is that I'm on blood thinners and my doc insisted that I buy some drum gloves. So I bought the Vic Firth Kalani gloves and they give my hands the protection they need....'nuff said.
