Unfortunately, this product didn't perform as expected. The first one wasn't even recognized by the FireStick, so I asked for a replacement. The second one actually worked, but I was getting only 65MBps, and I kept getting lag and even drops when streaming content.I never got more than 65MBps downloads over the 2 weeks I attempted to use this.Maybe it's not really compatible, or Amazon "throttles it" to the point that wireless is a hundred times better... :(

Bought the 2 pack. One of them did not work. Tried on multiple devices. Chromecast, phone etc. Used an adequate USB-C charger to make sure it has enough power. It was a dud. Needs better screening at the Chinese factory.

For a Gbps device on a router with Gbps ports, I was hoping for speeds closer to Gbps since that is what our ISP is feeding the home.But it was plug n play simple, and there may be some other issue limiting the Firestick 4k Max 2nd gen speed

When I first started using this I was pretty upset: it would work for a couple hours, then drop off of the Ethernet until I unplugged and replugged it.Then I realized the USB power adaptor I'd plugged it into was only 15 watts, enough to mostly power this dongle and the device but not quite. The first sign of failure was dropping off of the Ethernet and not recovering.Switching in a 30 watt USB-C power adaptor made a huge difference, everything has been working smoothly since.
