How to Apply Griptape to Skateboard/ Longboard/ School Board
Step 1: Peel down the adhesive protective paper
Step 2: Stick the grip tape on the skateboard deck, use screwdrivers to cut several lines
Step 3: Curve off the extra griptape outside the deck in 45-degree angle

This is amazing! I had searched for something to put on the back of my acrylic quilting rulers for a long time, but nothing is ever worth the hype. The rulers slide on the fabric as you cut, ruining all your careful attempts at accuracy. I saw a quilter on YouTube recommending this product and she sounded convincing enough for me to try it. I'm sure glad I did! I'm going to put it on all my rulers. And it only takes a few very small pieces spaced across the ruler to keep it from sliding. A roll of this stuff will last a lifetime. The best money I've spent in quite a while!

could not use, did not stick and was permanently creased. I've been putting griptape on boards for over 10 years and I've never been unable to do it...expect with this griptape.

The two pictures I share show the same board with and without the grip tape. Very transparent which is good for my intent. Be careful what you wish for though cuz air bubbles are more noticeable so expect some work if your board has irregularities like mine does. Sticks really well so far at least. I used a hair drier to heat up the tape and make it more pliable. Rather than a sand paper look, the grit is clear/white plastic grit I think… pretty aggressive grip!

I like this product a lot, only because it's the first time I've actually used it. Never tried any other because I'm new to the whole skateboard designing scene. It's has I great transparency to put over my design. The guy I designed for said he liked the feeling and gripping power.

Works well I used it as paint guards on my new truck for protecting the rocker panels when exiting and entering the vehicle. I the grit is VERY course. I used a knife to scrap of some of the grit. It has great adherence.

I purchased this for using on my machine quilting templates. They were sliding around on the fabric, causing imperfect stitching. Prior to purchasing this, I tried the little circles that are supposed to provide grip on the bottom of your rulers. They didn't work. I also tried the grip adhesive tape that came with a few of the quilting templates. That also didn't work great and I didn't get near enough for all my templates. After researching , I came across this product. I cut 1/4 inch strips and then cut into 1/2 inch long pieces and attached two to each ruler/template. I love it! Not once did I get slipping. I even replaced the circle grips on my rulers, putting two pieces on so the rulers don't rock. This is by far the best product that I've found - and way cheaper as well! I also have enough to share with fifty is my closest quilting friends and still will have extra. 😊

the grip tape works well, and it was easy to install. I was hoping for a bubble-free finished product because I wanted the bamboo of the deck to show through cleanly. The wood does look beautiful and shows up well through the tape, but not all bubbles were removed. The bubbles remaining are very fine, and I even attempted a heat gun to adhere it better, but tiny bubbles remain throughout. It is very functional, and looks better than plain black.

The grip tape has held up pretty well so far and looks pretty good, my only issue is it is very coarse grit. Applying it left my hands raw. I was assuming it would be like a normal skateboard grit , I had planned to use it barefoot in a balance board i made but it would be way to rough on bare skin. I would imagine it would chew up a pair of skateboard shoes pretty quick as well but for any other application it would be great.Still giving 4 stars as it seems like a good product but just a warning about recklessness of the grit.
